Celebrating 100 subscribers I decided to have another go and making 3d jelly cakes. Seeing as I was celebrating, prosecco and strawberry flavour seemed fitting! Thank you to everyone who has subscribed and watched my videos!
Link to new 3D jelly art video: • Jelly Art Nozzle Test ...
    Recipe:
    Ingredients:
    125ml water
    2tbsp + 1tsp gelatine powder
    500ml water
    150g sugar
    flavouring
    67½ml water
    1tsbp (3tsp) gelatine powder
    200g sweetened condensed milk
50ml double cream ( you can use full fat milk instead)
    Food colouring
    Directions:
Mix the first gelatine and water together and allow to absorb.
In a saucepan heat the water, sugar and flavouring until almost simmering.
Mix the gelatine into the hot water and stir until dissolved.
Pour into bowls and place in the fridge to set. I found that they needed at least 3 hours.
Mix the second gelatine powder with the lot of second water.
In a saucepan mix the sweetened condensed milk, cream and flavouring until almost simmering. Mix the gelatine mixture into the hot milk and stir until all dissolved.
Pour into a few different dishes and colour the mixture.
Once piped into the jelly, place in the fridge to set again!
I've found the easiest way to get the jelly out of the moulds is to run a warm metal butterknife and the outside of the jelly. I still haven't got this bit perfect, but i'm sure I will at some point!

    • @sheenacanape3312

Maybe because of the added sugar in it. If you put less sugar or no sugar at all, maybe the clarity will improve as adding sugar to water makes it like a syrup which will make it thick and cloudy.
