- We have had the Havaseas, our Nordhavn 55, for just over a year and a half. We explored Canada over the winter and spring. We are now headed back up to Alaska. We continue our journey with our friends on the Coastal Raven (N40) to Nettle Basin, Captain Cove, and fish off of Porcher Island. These are our adventures, how we live and where we go.

Salmon cakes looked delicious! 😋😋
We used leftover salmon from our dinner in Bishop Bay, but you can use canned salmon with this recipe:therecipecritic.com/crab-cakes/#wprm-recipe-container-88382. I substitute what ever leftover seafood we have and it turns out great! Add a poached egg and some hollandaise sauce!

Good idea! Normally, I have Eric drill holes to hide them.... but that isn't happening on this boat! Not one hole has been added since we took ownership.

What was that sauce on the salmon steaks?
I use this recipe and sometimes substitute halibut or salmon:therecipecritic.com/crab-cakes/#wprm-recipe-container-88382. When seafood cakes for breakfast we top them with hollandaise sauce (I just use mix) and sometimes add a poached egg. For evening we usually just use a lemon aioli sauce. If you don't have fresh seafood the canned seafood works well.
