That was an amazing series. Thanks a lot for beeing part of the spectators. Well done, Sir! 👏🏼
It was great to meet you on the fabulous Photo Voyager trip to Antarctica. Thanks for your super videos and images Greg. It has been wonderful watching them this evening, reliving the trip and the 'once in a lifetime' memories. It really was a special holiday. Anyone considering whether or not to sign up for 2025? Just GO. You definitely won't regret it.
So excited about 2025. Great job on the series man!
Wow, these bird shots are just insane bro!
Fantastic photos you managed to capture on this trip! That's incredible you're running your own trip with Nick in 2025, I don't blame you for wanting to go back!
Thanks for charging this absolutely beautiful series of videos and pictures.
Greg, what an Amazing Adventure with trying to only pick so many photos to show us all. They are All so Beautiful!! Loving them All my favs are the abstracts also and the golden light landscapes photos. The orcas are such a bonus to see and what an incredible journey. Thanks for bringing this to us. Cheers!!!!
Wonderful abstract images - just beautiful. Congrats.
So many great images. The petrel shots were stunning!
Hi, I am one of the Polar Latitudes photo coaches and have had the privilege of photographing Antarctica over the last 40 years. I've enjoyed watching the videos in this series. Great choice picking Polar Latitudes for this trip. Also I would like to say those are incredibly beautiful and very unusual Giant Petrel flight images. Stunning light and extremely well photographed. There are plenty of other excellent images in that final selection and it's good to hear such enthusiasm for the photographic possibilities in this compelling location. Not surprised you are planning a return visit!
Hi Ben! Awesome to see your comment here man and thanks for the kind words on the content. It was an awesome trip and we're looking forward to returning. Next adventure will be Crossing the Circle. Do you have and tips or info to share? I'm always looking to learn more. Cheers and thanks for watching, always good to hear form new people on the channel!
@@gregsnell Hi Greg, So pleased you enjoyed it all (who wouldn't?!!). I've loved every second of my several years in Antarctica and particularly enjoy working with Polar Latitudes these days (following on from working as a scientist, then sailing in a yacht, then working for Nat Geo, then the BBC and now on the expedition ships - it's been a colourful journey!). I.m just uploading the voyage video from my most recent PL journey which included the spectacular island of South Georgia....will send you a link. Happy to be in contact and chat further about the photography. I also see you are talking to Conny - she's got the full logistic info but I can maybe add some photographic tips.
That is some great footage of the orcas! I've really enjoyed the Antarctica series! Those photos came out very well!
Absolutely magnificent shots Greg and thank you for bringing it to us.
The shot of the whale tail in front of the iceberg is awesome! So many other epic shots mate 👌
Great series Greg, really enjoyed following it. Some incredible images and the Penguins have to be my favourites. The Petrel shots were fabulous capturing the light on them as you did 👌
Greg, Greg, Greg. Those are amazing photos brotha. What a fantastic adventure. Think you got me sold on the next one for sure... amazing job dude. Now enjoy the family.

Awesome images, Greg! Shouldn't be difficult to entice some other well known pros. Rock on! 👍🥂
Beautiful Images. I love your normal videos but really glad you gave us a chance to see the images you got as well.
Bryan!! Thanks man. There are a few good ones in there. I'm not exactly sure which are print worthy yet. We'll see what Nellie thinks 😁
Loved all the videos you posted about this trip Greg. Stunning pictures, you should be proud of all those amazing shots!

That’s a pretty excellent set.
Wow Greg, this is some of the best photography I have ever seen from you, you must be overjoyed with the results?
Epic round-up! Great selection of photos and looked like an epic trip… the orcas and seabirds especially.
My mum just got back from an Antarctic cruise and on the way back went through a full hurricane… so you were certainly luck with the weather and the decision to get back early!
Nice shots Greg, there's no place better than New Zealand's south island for Autumn color in the southern hemisphere 🍁
I bet. I remeber being there in 2014 and it was amazing!! Quebec is pretty good in late October too 👍
Hi Greg, Great video and slideshow!! It was great to see how you have grown in your photography to be able to step out and try something new ( abstract photography). Love the abstract photos. Take care from Texas!!
Every single one of those images were stunning and certainly deserved its place in the video and what a body of work, just phenomenal mate. 2025 sounds amazing im sure that will be another fantastic expedition, really enjoyed this series , great work mate, take care.
You have raised the bar for yourself. Well done!
Greg!! Thanks man.
Amazing images and fun videos to watch! And that future Antarctica trip with Nick Page is🔥
Cheers man! There are already 16 people signed up too
Incredibly beautiful!
It's a magical place
Amazing work, you've turned a page, congratulations.
On to the next chapter 💪
You captured so many amazing images Greg!! It's great to see you come out of the pandemic crisis so well and enthusiastic. YOur portfolio is so broad; Starwells to Antarctica...WOW! It must have been so difficult to distill your selection down to 50+? It looks like you are hooked on Antarctica, I'm looking forward to some more wonderful images from Patagonia. I'm traveling vicariously with you LOL!
I loved this video series, and what a set of photos you created, fantastic.
Amazing work Greg! I don't remember you mentioning the weather detour during the series and am glad you didn't and just kept it exciting and upbeat the whole time. I think I will go back and rewatch! Wish I were young enough to join you in 2025 and watch Nick do the polar plunge! What are the odds on that one!! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Your photos are full of life and make justice my country and Anctartica, I hope I can travel with you sometime!👍
Argentina is a beautiful country. Te sabes che, el pais es genial. Especialmente el norte y obvio Patagonia.
Awesome series, love the Orca’s as I am in the PNW…… 2025 maybe
This was such an awesome series Greg and to get down to around 300 images must have been a tough stage to go through as the range of images and moments you captured were phenomenal. I have no doubt your return with Nick will be popular and with 2 great leaders it is bound to deliver a fantastic experience for the participants
Absolutely fantastic set of images dude! All so wonderful and unique! The one with the rippled reflection of the big iceberg is just beautiful!! Super excited for you that you and Nick Page are working together to make your own trip down there! Fantastic!! 🎉
Man those images and experiences are just awe inspiring! What an incredible adventure and I really hope your next one in January is just as epic! One day for me I hope haha
Amazing work! Amazing journey
It's definitely a paradise for landscapes, wildlife, and remote adventure.
Great photos Greg, you are correct the only thing is to go back ............ already clicked the booking request .......oooooops :)
Let's gooooooo!! See you in the live call mate. Be great to have someone else there who was with us the first round 👍 p.s. Timing will likely be around our evening*ish as Nick and Conny are both based in the PNW area of North America.
Crazy good images and video! Thanks for taking me along!
Incredible video Greg! I’ll be keeping my eye on that trip🤞🏻😍
Epic photos! A trip of a lifetime! Hope you can some more puma pics in Patagonia!!!
That Puma was once in a lifetime man. Would be incredible to see one again, truly.
Terrific series Greg. The Petrel shots were especially beautiful. Thanks also to Brendan for the cameo illustrating clearly the debilitating effects of the Drake Shake.
Some great work dude. Very enjoyable.
❤❤❤
I'd love to go with you Greg and I think you will make a great guide. Good to hear you are going to be leading rather than just being the video man. Sadly, the cost will put me off. But maybe one day.
Such a wonderful experience! I'll have two kids in college at that point... its going to be tough. Going to look long and hard at the bank statements
Mitch!! Yeah that's a tall ask. Especially in the US or Canada.
Thank you so much for this series of videos on your trip to Antarctica. Such a fascinating place to take photos and explore. Loved seeing all you did!
The images are awesome! - well done! (I'm hoping to join you and Nick in 2025 - if finances permit. First though, is Patagonia 2024. Hope you'll be joining Brendan for that one, too.)
Hi Martin! Good to hear from you mate. Yeah that would be sweet. There is a 50/50 chance I'll join BvS in Patagonia again in 2024. As of right now it's not confirmed though.
amazing fotos !! 🤩
Cool Pics, cool story BTW who heck is that guy making funny faces hahahaha 😂
Haha...he's a vlogger also!
@@waynearchibald3920 I know I was only kidding around
@@pablogonzalez8304 Ahhhh...🤷♂️👌
Fantastic journey, fantastic video series, fantastic photos! I also like a lot your abstract photos, but probably my favourite is the one at 4:26 😮
What a great trip (I hate you) not really, just kidding. that's my dream trip, but unless I win the lottery !!!!great photos, can wait for your trip to Patagonia beautiful place I was there a few years ago but the northern part of Patagonia.....❤❤
Hi Greg, by chance I found your video series about your Antarctica visit. Great footage and photos and well done videos combining information and inspiration. This was extremely helpful as I am leaving in 10 days for a similar trip including South Georgia and the Falklands. Just one question: your videos look well stabilized, at least the ones from land visits. Did you use a tripod or would it be enough to go with a monopod as well? As a regular photo excursionist I hope we do one day a tour together, by the way, I am living as well in Hamburg, Rissen in the West ... best regards Frank
Hi Frank. Awesome comment and thanks for the kind words. I use a gimbal when shooting video. My suggestion would be a monopod I think that is fine. Also be careful with your tripod as they are often not advised during landings because of Avian bird flu.
I still work full time. I need to figure out how to make some of these trips happen....
vacation time brother. I think most people in North America get around 2-3 weeks. In Germany it feels more like 4-6 😂 Where are you at?
@@gregsnell I'm self employed. I can take infinite time. However, I'm a 1 man show. When I don't work, I don't make $$$. It's like double the sting when I take long vacations. It's one reason I'd like to really to get into landscape photography. So I can make my "vacations" work for me. Just not there at this point...
Play any discgolf there? lol.
Haha. I wish. Imagine a course in Ushuaia?? That would be awesome.
Great job as always! I really enjoyed this entire series. Sorry that you (and by extension us, lol) didn't get to see everything promised, but certainly understand that the weather rules in that part of the world!
