I LOVE listening to Mike Lange. He reminds me of the hockey version of Myron Cope. Always colorful and offbeat, he'll make some of the greatest lines that will make hockey fans (mostly us Pittsburgh fans) want to watch a game, such as "she wants to sell my monkey" or his signature one being "ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has just left the building". If Myron Cope is the Voice of the Steelers, and Bob Prince is the Voice of the Pirates, then Lange is arguably the voice of the Penguins. =)
Marv Albert also called for the Knicks! I remember seeing clips of the Knicks-Lakers championship series in 1970 when Willis Reed went down with an injury, and the Knicks rallied to beat the Lakers in Game 5. Then when Willis came walking out of the tunnel of Madison Square Garden for Game 7, you could hear Albert getting excited, “And the crowd goes wild!”
Funny how radio delay device sales went up drastically in the Pittsburgh area when FSN(jokes) decided to "go in a different direction" and take him off the TV broadcasts. He has been, is, and will always be THE voice of the Penguins!

I can still remember his first broadcast for the Pens in 1974; he was great then and always will be "The Voice of the Pittsburgh Penguins."
