Clay by the way. Im glad you touched up on this topic. Many many people dont know how big this scam is.
Ive had a brand new mazda car. Sent it to a panel beater. All it had was a side scrape on the driver door. Not a crash. Car was about 2 years old with about 30,000km.
I got my car back, all the new parts in my car were replaced with old and second hand or used parts.
They swapped my air con parts when i got it back it stopped working, they took out my door panels inside then replaced the electric window parts to old parts , the swapped thr two front seats to seats they had stains on it, seats looked old like faded black , they swapped some original panels in my car to non genuine panels. My panels feel like plastic not the original it came in.
    This is the truth.
This panel beater had 5 star reviews, but when i went in they were dodgy and looked dodgy. The service wasnt even 5star.
Be careful of dodgy panel beaters and look at your car parts when you get your car back.

@@Pia-ho9dm i mean im not forcing you to believe me whether its true or not. How many times do you think they get away with this?
      Lets say for women.
If they get a front panel repaired.
Do they look inside the door panels? Do they look inside the car to see if its their car parts?
Or do these women look at what was repaired? And you dont have alot of time to inspect every spec of your car as there is a panel beater with you waiting.
I know many people who get their car repaired on the outside but never check inside of the car if anything has been touched or damaged.
Thats my experience. I mean its upto you if you want to check your car and trust your panel beater. Entirely up to you.
No harm with me telling the audience, be careful and try check your car parts etc.. if everything is working as they should.
Noone trusts a car salesman or a mechanic… what difference is it to a panel beater?

A lot of cars are bought at auction and then taken to have either parts or other components attached to a vehicle that isn’t on the accident list from the vin number.
I have heard of vehicles that have been smashed in the opposite end of the vehicle get cut in half and then welded together.
I can’t remember who it was but someone bought a vehicle that is highly sort after by JDM enthusiasts.
After getting the vehicle home and deciding to fit his sound system he lifted up the carport and found that the vehicle had two floors.
They had simply cut the two cars apart and attached them together by welding the floors together.

Perfect example of misinformation from someone who has no knowledge of salvage vehicles. Very far from the truth, I don’t deal with these dodgy wreckers at all, ever, because they are hard to deal with. They definitely aren’t conspiring to rebirth stolen cars that’s for sure. You need to back up a little mate, you missed the biggest scam.. back track to where it starts, the cars accidents, look into the towies and when & where they forcefully take peoples cars and hold them ransom, before releasing it to be assessed by a bodyshop for the insurance, then it gets sent off to pickles after being categorised (wovr, wovr n/a, stat wo). The car replacement companies “credit hire cars” , they get sent the persons personal details including their licence sent to them by some crim towie , they then give the not-at-fault party a free car (basically dropping it at thier door), then charge the at-fault & thier insurance extortionate amounts, in the thousands for short term, and tens of thousands for those whose car get written off waiting on a payout. Real life legal extortion between crims and dodgy hire car companies. These people pass your details out to all sorts wanting you to use them to claim against the insurance and other parties.

They buy a wrecked vehicle for $600 and can make ten or twentyfold in parts or more. A few are holding yards for insurance companies where tow trucks drop vehicles waiting to be assessed. Admittedly many are on the borderline of dodgy as that is the world they operate in but overall not really a big deal

What do you expect cars to stay happy and have a happy life and just magiclly disapear when they bad accidents they are wreckers and scrap yards that buy them and some are repairable and go to panel beaters to get fixed

i think this video has a lot of open ended questions, being in the motor vehicle repair trade, yes a lot of written off cars are sold for parts, some not to the public but also one category you have the insurance repairer which in good practice repair with new parts however the tender to stay within insurance claims there is a very tight margin they have to stay within. Then you have the other end of the repair market who repair cars to sell to wholesalers which are then put in stock for car dealers, parts are recycled to keep costs down for higher sales margins. i see this on a day to day basis, however i feel this video made is assuming stolen cars made to rebirth is what its based on. just a vibe i felt watching this video which is abit skewed and as for people not being friendly, they're just workers. its not a skillset to try and approach customers or just randoms on the street lol.

Huh? Looks like a scrap yard, panel beating, auto spares section of the industrial area….we have plenty of those in Sydney.
We’re also getting a lot of Indians as well….🙄 I would say majority run businesses like they’re still in India…🙄
