      Gaston Rossato Oh I should have seen the full video; you missed to inform a couple of obvious charactaristics of this car. Like the fantastic chassie, the fact that it’s a transaxle car with very low unsprung weight. Or why evo has those very small wheels (its homologated for huge race wheels)

    I owned a '87 Milano Gold and bought it new in '87, kept it until 2000. I LOVED that car. When I saw pictures of the Evoluzione, I just wished I could have had one of those.. Basically, the Evoluzione was what I dreamed I could have turned my car into, but…… Its too bad they didn't bring those into the US.

    Made me remember that I have a 1987 Alfa Romeo Milano that's been sitting in my pole barn for 20yrs. Red, Rust free, full rs racing suspension, full heim joints, 3.0, ported, 1.5 Dom 6pt roll cage, 33mm sway bar, tons of race things, only 70k miles. Makes me want to bring it back to life. I think I literally forgot it was back there until now.

    Yeah, only problem is that in November 2018 the value of a 75 Evoluzione in Italy is between 50k and 70k€....
    You think it sells for 200k €? Good luck...........
    Apart this huge misinformation, the car is great, only crime is they raped the interiors putting that leather :-S

    • @GastonRossato
      @GastonRossato  Před 5 lety +2

      We are not saying it's a $200K today, but that in fact it has the potential to be a $200K car, compared to other cars in it's class that do bring a $200K premium in today's market. I agree with the interior, it's a shame and completed by the previous owner.

      @Gaston Rossato
      Mmh.. ok, it is a “particular” way of reasoning about it but I won’t oppose to it furthermore, after all still it is a great car and very smart money investment for the future.
      I have a 1989 Alfa 75 (so called “Milano”) 1.8 Turbo America with only 36.000 km, in “museum” conditions.... I simply LOVE this car.
      Recently (last weekend) we have had in Padova, Italy, one of the biggest and most relevant classic cars expo in Europe; there were like a dozen of Alfa 75 in the whole fair -in around 11 or 12 halls!!!- but they shined with pride in the crowded event.
      There was a 75 Evoluzione just like yours (but with the red colour that got alittle darker over the years) and a -OH MY GOD THAT WAS A DREAM- 75 Evoluzione IMSA...... a total beast from the past, capable of 290 km/h..... in the late 80’s!!!!
      Be proud of driving that Alfa in the States, and PLEASE, do not simplify your car as an Italian Fast and Furious...
      the 75 is a symbol of a whole philosophy, remembered by Alfa enthusiasts with dreaming eyes here in Italy... the era in wich those cars had a soul...
      Ciao
