To be fair after watching a previous video I did noticed he called them THE CUSTOMER so I personally think they was having a dig back with the van builder comment.
I thought it was sickening how they constantly called him the van builder then have cheek to put up a video saying oh we weren't being funny...no and Ur comment about illness thru stress wasn't a dig either...entitled pair. They are ungrateful CUSTOMERS..true. esp after what Liam said about freebies and the price he charged..disgusting treatment when someone bent over backwards to help them.
That van is a work of art Liam as a tradesman myself for almost 30 years I can see the creativity and passion that goes in to your work it’s a pleasure to watch. It’s just awesome man.👍🏼

I'm usually a serial lurker but thought I'd sign in and help folk be aware that as tradesmen your reputation is everything, it's what keeps work coming in and food on the table for your kids and I could see yesterday you saw that at risk mate. It's not something people should call into question unless it's a very serious issue, and not something people should be playing around with in youtube video narratives. Not entirely sure the Days got the ramifications of that or how their vid might have come across, but either way I for one did get the impression they were implying that the issues were due to you, just by calling you the van builder all of a sudden was it for me, even if you'd had words you shouldn't be putting stuff online that looks as if one party have caused the issues, especially ones that seem to have straight forward solutions or completely unrelated to your work eg gas install . Anyway, had to defend yourself and call it out. The van looks mint and you, Rik and Sean should be proud and leave all the rest behind. Looking forward to the Ambo, keep calm and crack on! It took 40 days to design build redesign build redesign again .....many hours lying in bed thinking on whats coming next .....hours of picking up supplys ...messaging people .....arranging people to come and do kitchen... waiting for amazon deliverys .....hours of editing videos for youtube .....working late into the night to get stuff finished .....its literally been blood sweat and at the final tears too! Not one negative comment on this thread ...so much praise that you all deserve .....WELL DONE TO YOU ALL ....👍👍👍

Well there we go ladies and gentlemen of the jury, plain for all to see…. This ‘van is built with the care and attention not seen even in new bricks and mortar homes costing thousands and thousands more, truly incredible the level of fit and finishing, and planning. Amazing. I’m sure one day it will finally be owned by people who actually appreciate it instead of moaning about it. Well done to you and your team Liam 👍
They didn’t moan about it. 👍. Just a miss understanding that’s all. They have apologised so that should be the end of it. As long as some of Liam the terrible fans don’t keep stirring and being nasty especially about Jannines illness which is pretty fucking scummy behaviour.
Their channel's theme is to document problems along with the good stuff & that's exactly what they did. Their viewers appreciate the honesty.
They also documented that there were less faults than a comparable big-name build for his Mum (3 vs 30-odd) & that the faults weren't in LtT's team's work.
1. gas - fitted but not commissioned by LtT, as agreed
2. door - fitted but not specified by LtT, fault was pointed out by LtT
3. heater - was working but they need frequent reboots.
….and there it is, a reminder of all the hard graft you, Rick and Sean put into that van. Great sign off for a project you should be proud of. To do all that in 40 days is incredible. Looking forward to following how your other projects develop!

Personally I don't think they'll keep that Van for long, it's way too big for traveling around in, more of a caravan site motor. Has been built quality👌👌👌

What an amazing build. Not everyone has this amount of skill, passion, dedication, care and generosity. You and the team have worked so hard and achieved something to be proud of.
I was seriously impressed with how quickly you completed this build before watching this....now I'm in awe! No corners were cut as far as I could see, that's a straight up master build. You're a maestro. I remember building my first van...that was corner cut central! Which is probably why I ripped it out and redid it within a year. You did a massive, first class job on that big van so pat yourself on the back - I'd do it for you but a live about 10,000 miles away. And don't take any shite from anyone.

But by recently stumbling on your channel, I've been utterly impressed by your level of professionalism, skill and absolute dedication to your craft. So, I've just started in a company that do VW T6 conversions with a team of 6, including a CNC machine and bought in parts, nothing majorly custom. It takes work to get these kitted out at one per week and costs a fair amount of coin once done.
The fact you've done that in such a tight time frame and that level is astonishing also while adding in the additional time it takes to troll/collect supplies (folk never take into account) - blows my mind.
Folk in todays age do not appreciate the process nor do they value one's work.
I whole heartedly believe you should never doubt your abilities. Always doubt suppliers quality control though!
I'm nae sure if this comment will reach you Liam but you done nothing wrong. Please continue with your flawless work. Although this experience has had immediate negative effects the long term will have nothing but positive changes from it. This Video is the start of. It clearly shows your passion, commitment and the length's you are willing to pour into these projects.

We all knew this has been an extensive build and superb with it. But watching a time lapse of the full build from start to finish it's mental how much time, care and work you guys actually put in when you see it like that. Little things I'd forgotten like you taking the trouble to hand make a light switch to suit. Painting the roof black so it looked nice under the solar panels. All touches that reinforced how much you cared about your work. I think they misunderstood the concept of running a business completely, not only in their recent actions but the way they dithered and changed things on your time. If they'd been charged by the hour for a build I bet they wouldn't have been so indecisive and ungrateful 🤔 Thanks for the condensed version of everything we've watched over the weeks, it brings the message home even more.

Just came home from work to watch this video I am a night nurse working on ITU and during all those terrible times during covid it was when I discovered van lifers on CZcams.
Gave me escapism from work watching you in the Peak District, Project Amber and Lost in Europe. It’s a bit contradictory by the way to ask me to justify my comment for all to read then tell me to ‘stop stirring the pot’ . They received freebies worth iver 5 grand thru Liam and his contacts which more than covered his £4,800 fee,yet they have the gall not to value what he’s done for them in a very short time period. Their goods and services aren't up to scratch (ie their horrible Christmas hamper that I made the mistake of buying last Christmas) but I don't put weird videos out about that to taint their reputation.

I was not impressed by the shower scene though, not for the reason of some “other!” people, I thought it was hilarious the first time I saw it but after my wife had rewound it a dozen times and then said “why don’t you get some tattoos?” I went right off it 😡.

Great work . A heart and soul build
I would have been ecstatic with that van although (and I know it's customer preference) I would have gone with a heater rather than a wood burner for 2 reasons. Firstly I'd worry about it working lose and maybe fumes coming out and secondly I'd like that bit more storage/worktop instead. Fantastic job by everyone involved 👌

Such a great job, but with what happened afterwards I will be surprised if they keep hold of it............just the way they sounded on their video with the lady of the manor not enjoying the drive home, the shock of how high the Van is with a near miss with a bridge.
