When you realize this entire commercial was a thinly-veiled "diss" against Vince Offer. Billy Mays made no secret of his disdain for the rival pitchman in a radio interview, calling the Slap Chop the "Crap Chop" and accusing Vince of knocking him off with ShamWow. The cheesy music, the made-up "$100/yr on paper towels," "dId yA GeT tHaT, cAmErA gUy??", throwing things across the set, and goofy "audience" reactions were all very unusual for a Billy Mays commercial.
@@dannycomellas why billy didn't like vince was because billy was selling hte shammy and the chopper long before vince got in the game. and knocked him off wih a 1-2 punch basically. didn't sit well with billy who was by this point at the top of his game in the infomercial industry
What gets me is the "...and wear them the same day" line. I had to do a double take after hearing the rimshot the first time, and that's got to be the funniest diss he's made here.
Can't wait for Doug to find this one
He is so obviously switching the towels out every time he hides it from the camera
ShamWow: Holds 12x its weight in liquid
Zorbeez: Holds 27x its weight in liquid
Suck it, Vince
QuintemCharizard The current ShamWow now holds only 10x its weight in liquid.

There was nothing “thinly-veiled”, this was a direct response to the turf war between Vince Offer.
There was room enough for both Mays and Offer. Vince's style was so radically different yet no less memorable.
