Raphael Saadiq put out a great album - The Way I See It - that I think never got the popular attention it deserved. It definitely channeled old school Soul and R&B. My choice to review would be Let's Take a Walk and maybe 100 Yard Dash but the whole album is great. Also - I think D'Angelo's album Black Messiah never got the attention he deserved - I think because he wasn't willing to go along with the Music PR Machine. Sugar Daddy is more upbeat and funky. Really Love is beautiful
