Stella is so good at playing Julia. I dont see her as villain, I see her a broken hedge witch that verges in and out of depression. She is flawed and its easy to see see parts of yourself in her character.
Julia is sooooooooooo freaking annoying in the TV show like not even joking. First off she's literally the reason Allison dies and barely shows any remorse about it other then the part when she talks to Quinton in Allisons room THAT SHE STAYS IN AFTER ALLISONS DEATh my I remind everyone. Another reason I believe Julia's character is stupid is because ever time she does anything wrong she has to have someone else to fix her problems for her or she ends up getting someone killed or dragging someone else into her problems THAT SHE CREATED ON HER OWN. An example of this would be when she stole the knife that was meant to kill the beast so she could use it as a bargain to fix her problem with the god THAT SHE SUMMONED. Another example of this is when she pushes Quinton over the protection wards so he could fight off the demon god who was trying to kill her WHILE SHE STAYED BEHIND THEm AND WATCHED and sure maybe she lost her Shadow and had no emotions but I literally saw no difference in her while she was without her shadow. And this is only the 2nd season Julia in season 1 was way more annoying, with the whole 'i didn't get into the magical school and Quinton did' thing and watching her whine and just be annoying and a major downer the entire season. And then the desperate attempts to do magic WhEN SHE DIDNt EVEN BELIEVE IN IT IN THe FIRSt PlACe AND THOUGHT IT WAs STUPId and she had the whole dramatic break down where she brwaks up with her boyfriend and starts to basically become a drug dealer for spells I mean it's just exhausting to watch her honestly like I really like the show but I just really hate her character in it. I I know that she is supposed to be like this strong and inspiring woman but I honestly don't even see it I thought the strong character was margo . And I don't know Maybe I'm being a little over dramatic, maybe some of you like character and look past all of this, maybe you actually think she's really cool, or maybe she gets less annoying in the future seasons I don't know. This is just my opinion of her
dlandria kemp its a shade. Not a shadow. But i havent read the books but in the show she is very annoying and selfish. With or without shade. Seems she can always make things about her. But whenever you can feel majorly annoyed because of someones character is great acting
I understand why you both find her incredibly annoying, I really really like her and I know why , you only ever like a character when you can understand completely why they do the things that they do and why they feel certain ways and especially if you’ve gone through the same things as them . For example,For someone to like Julia as much as I do ,they would have to relate to her . I think I relate to her because she has also done things she regrets and she knows she’s fucked up , and she tries her very best to overcome it. either way that’s why I have an interest in her.
She is the worst actress I have ever watched. She has only one facial expression. I think it is from to many botox injections. Her cracked voice reminds me of the many bar flys I've picked up through the years. She is just terrible.
