In US, I've ordered a couple used saris from ebay. Of course that's not as economical as getting them from within the country. Perhaps consider using the inspiration and basic technique for use with all sheets and other locally available material :)

Lovely quilt! I am trying to make a quilt with a similar stitch technique. Can you tell me, do you use one long thread for every vertical line? Or do you use shorter threads, starting and stopping as you go? Do you knot the thread on the outside of the quilt, or do you bury it inside the layers? Thank you!

Thank you for your lovely words. Don't use very long threads as they tend to get tangled on the way. On one side I keep all the knotted ends of the thread. 😊😊
