I was watching a TikTok video and they said that ceiling fans should spin one way in the summer and the other way in the winter. Just a tip to look into. 😊
I’m glad you showed these properties Cartess. There is a Mérida for every price range. Both of these properties are gems.💎 But that first one is a sweet location too.
Beautiful homes, I just rented one for around that price…for our first house out of the US it has been a smooth transition and nice amenities, huge upgrade from our home in the US.
Of all the homes I've seen on your channel the one with the extra living quarters in the back is my favorite. I know exactly what I'd do with that extra space. I think it's probably the nicest pool I've seen as well plus I love that it has some green grass. Had I been there, I'd have paid my deposit right then and there, lol.
Brother don't do it you can rent five places for that it may not be as modern but you save thousands of dollars you can save a month to buy yourself property for you kids remember you won't always be there make sure you have a inheritance.🌄🦍❤️
I feel you. That's a beautiful home no doubt but it would be a house I may want to buy when I'm able. Meanwhile I will look for something less costly and stack my paper.
In my circumstance. I would live in the seperate apartment in back of house #2, and airbnb the main house! But then i saw your comment about location. Great tour, tho Cartess. Thank you!
The 2nd house really is beautiful, with a very good size pool. Yes the bathroom, but overall, the furnishing is nice. The addition at the back could bring in some extra income, which would help you with the rent and car rental. To me, that's a better buy and it's cheaper than the first one as well.
That's exactly what I was thinking. And I didn't like two windows facing the inside of the garage. Can't imagine the noise for anyone in that room. Should be an office. I really like the apartment and it having its own little space for the yard. Thats really cute. And the bar, my entire summer would be in that yard.
There's a LOT to be said about not having to worry about the cost of cooling your house when much of the year is above 90°! Especially with a family. I'd say house #1 is an excellent trade-off! Best of luck!
Only stupid poor people say that my house in merida is 2800 month it is very big in a private area with guards large pool I moved here to enjoy my retirement never work all I do is travel have fun and cars alot more expensive my suburban cost $100,000 dollars and my 2022 harley cost 23000 dollars why people think merida is cheap to live it is not unless you want to live live the poor people don't listen to the poor Cuban guy on CZcams he lives terrible my family never shops in El Centro we go to the malls live Liverpool we do go to pergresso to eat alot there is so much to do if you know where to go my typical day go to gym go to eat out then go swimming or go to mall shop or look around then go and prepare lunch then time for rest as it's hot than in evening go to friends house have drinks and then go home watch TV and sleep this is my life and 2 times a month go somewhere maybe stay at the beach for a few days or go to riveria Maya for 3 days this is life in merida if you want I don't care it's hotcim in ac you don't walk around in the hottest part of the day email me and I will show you how to live there
I like both houses, but the 2nd one I really like a LOT more! Bigger pool and that "apartment" that could also be used for a business or rented out for extra income. I wouldn't want it furnished, not really my style at all but that's inconsequential.
Hey, bud, my wife and I just left Merida. They have black FB groups that get together every week bro. Downtown Merida on Saturdays they shut down the main street for people to ride bicycles. I'm looking for something around Harbor mall or downtown. Be back in a few weeks to stay. Also, the barking howling dog is prohibiting that place from renting. So annoying
😲 but that second property is real nice Definitely 😁 i love it has bigger pool with grass space and whole another apartment and showers etc . Definitely thats a sale❤ great for big dogs because i have two dogs
They are both beautiful homes and I'm sure you could make either one work. But, I do agree that the last one is a lot smaller and may not really work out in the long run. I think overall your family would need more space to truly be comfortable.
You getting up there in that price range. Why not buy and add some solar? I guess I am thinking from the perspective of a retiree. As soon as I am out of the USA I am getting a house with a gate, a Moto and will have my car and used solar panels and batteries shipped from China or the USA.
Omg, this is hard the second place is nice too plus you could airbnb the other unit and make extra money wow. Is the second location where you can't really make phone calls?
I thought about the airbnb angle on that second one, but it's so far out (in Conkal). Many folks won't be trying to come stay out that far... Not much to do out there. But definitely a good idea. IF it were closer to the city it might be a serious contender
I love the first one. A ceiling fan in the kitchen is a great idea. Did you say how many panels it has? You probably need at least 10 to offset the bill.
I'm fighting for the first one ... Still negotiating though. If they come down I'll take it. But i got 4 more to see tomorrow and i'll post and share those here as well.
@@MoveAbroadandThrive How much more on average are we talking? I'm assuming owners try to recoup the costs for the installation & maintenance, since the tenants are reaping the rewards on the electric bill.
Depends on what you want. Prices vary based on location, size, amenities, etc. The solar adds to the price significantly cause they know u can save a lot on electricity especially if u blasting that a/c
Not everyone wants to live in Las Americas. Most of the locals don’t wanna live there (straight from their mouths). If someone gave me a free house in las americas i wouldn’t take it). Couldn’t pay me to live there. For many, everything is not about how cheap you can get it. Aint nothing in Las Americas (and many foreigners who move out there quickly leave). i find that most of the time they got caught up in, and attracted to the cheap rent.
Nice places, but remember: stick to the plan. Stick to the plan. Stick to the plan. It looks like you would need a car if you live in Conkal. Is that true? Or can you get by without one? Keep in mind that if you rent a place in a location in which you need a car, then every time your girls want to go somewhere, they'll need you to drive them. They'll lose a lot of their independence and drive you crazy asking you to be their personal taxi driver all day, lol. They gonna have you on speed dial. Forget Didi. They got Daddy 🤣😂
Yes... For most of Conkal a car would be necessary... But that particular pocket, one can get away without a car ... They got these guys on 3-wheel bikes/motobikes that'll take you around much of Conkal (like a taxi service) and it's cheap, so that would work because they ride around that area regularly. The only reason I entertain Conkal is because my daughters friends and best friends live there. But I agree with you ... they will lose a lot of options (i keep telling them but they don't believe me). And i already warned them, if we move out to Conkal, I ain't driving ya'll back and forth (not for this house, there was another house we fell in love with in Conkal but it was too far out and had no cell phone reception in the neighborhood) and no options for 'taxis'.
