more muslims and africans for ireland!
I work in temple bar and literally everyone I serve is a drunk tourist 😂
Hii

Do ""NOT ""go to the Temple Bar Pub or Oliver St. John Gogarty Pub in Temple Bar!They are the two biggest ripoff pubs in Ireland!!!They are tourist traps with drinks that are double the price of normal Dublin pubs.Dubliners like me wouldn't go near them.Try the Palace Bar or the Porterhouse pub in Temple bar if you really have to go to that area but there are so may great pubs in the city center better than the Temple bar area.
or bring your own drink in after you order one lol
it's not that much of a difference in places like fibbers you pay a fiver for a pint, in temple bar it's like 6
Kieran Greene you work in mustan harrys
Martin Gogarty Always wears the same clothing and he is a wanker to his staff. a multi million who lives on the rooftop of his own pups doesn't like changing clothes
They are all rip off joints whether in temple bar or not.
Avoid temple bar as the prices are higher to target the tourists. Walk 5 min across the road to South Anne Street, georges street, exchequer street and the pubs are cheaper
Peter Crosbie vive le crumlin
Ya south Anne street totally agree lovely spots off there
Avoid dublin altogether place is a kip
I’m from Dublin and got charged €6.70 for a pint in Temple Bar I nearly grabbed the bar man by the neck
calvan candy lol
lmao the most Irish response ever, yea man I hear ya, fuck that, there's definitely other pubs where you'd meet hilarious irish folk for an affordable price
I got charged €7.60 for a Heineken, it took me 90 mins to drink it, didn't enjoy after seeing my receipt! Shocking...€3.80 for a pint of Carling where I live, and nicer!
You're from Dublin and you went to Temple Bar.
Them Chicago prices now. I'm half IRISH/PUERTO RICAN
I'm born and bred in Dublin. Generally, irish people do not step foot anywhere near Temple Bar. For us, it's generally too crowded, too expensive and we hear the same 10 songs or so over and over again!
In saying that, we have to take our tourist friends here so it's a necessary evil. 😎
Hope you enjoyed my city!
Kam M The Foggy Dew, George's St, Camden St are probably my favourite areas around Dublin. I generally just walk through Temple Bar to take a shortcut! 😂
Rockeeee....where would you suggest if not Temple Bar? First time in Dublin this September 2018. Probably will go through...after all, I'm a tourist, LOL, but also looking for other cool places to get a pint.
Unless ur goin to claw or Rory’s
christa1024 there's a pub out of the city up the mountains called the blue light, highly recommend. Absolutely stunning view of Dublin, fresh air and lots of great music along with very lovely and Irish staff! All the best on your trip, make sure to make the most of your trip and go out of the city and enjoy as much of Dublin as you can. Also ask around bar tenders for places to visit as they will definitely know great places
rockeee yes living in Ireland for 16 years and l never spent even 1 night in temple bar
Hey man! I've watched a lot of your videos before visiting NYC, they were great! And know I'm thinking about going to Ireland and here you are yet again. Keep up the good work!
We dont want u here
My kind of travel video. Normal folks having fun. More!
I'm from Ireland, guys. If you want to come to Ireland (which you should because it's great over here), you should definitely go to Slea head in Dingle, Co. Kerry, it's a lovely place 😊
I was 2018 in Dublin/Portmarnock. It was great. Thank you Shawn
As a Dublin native living in Asia ,your video was a nice reminder of home .Your right in your opinion of T.B. Must now look at your other videos about Ireland .Gave you a thumbs up .Slainte .
Weird
Was in dublin in '06. fun place, went to the temple bar among several places.
I have been there so many times on this place.so beautiful
I never knew that about Kehoe's but that makes a lot of sense, it's like somebody's bedroom.
Amazing night in Dublin
Seems so much fun
Was in Dublin for a semester abroad. It was really great
Man I would love to visit Ireland someday love the music and the culture
Love from Nepal ❤️
Temple Bar is the pyongang of ireland and is not the real ireland. Full of tourists paying 3 times too much for everything.
Alan Phelan lol yeah come to jobstown hahahaha
same in belfast in the centre they cater for the tourist we just do our own thing
Alan Phelan DID YOU JUST COMPARE DUBLIN TO PYONGYANG
Sprite Boi He’s comparing the concept. Visiting a country and falling into a tourist trap. Not hard to grasp.
Paul 87 Dame street, Smithfield, Stoney batter, georges street, Camden street, baggot street, balls bridge...to name a few.
Can't believe it's been 5 years since I've been to Dublin! Gotta go back soon :)
+Marjorie Rodrigues totally worth a revisit
Marjorie Rodrigues hi
Hi Marjorie hope you are well. Greetings from Ireland. Hope you’re safe from Covid. Hope you enjoyed Dublin. Have a good day and stay safe 😀😘 Michael
I met my ex on st patricks day and we were so wild that night its so amazing time of the year
Awesome vid! I’m staying in Limerick for a year and looking to stay in Dublin soon!
The "What's the story?" Slang on the wall got me bro! 😂😂😂
Good times! Looks like you all had fun after the Temple Bar, but I was way too tired to keep going til 4am!
Lol sure did.
Big fan of your videos as heading to NYC from Dublin for the first time. I felt bad when I saw you went to that pub Gogartys. It is the biggest tourist trap in the country.
it seems a peaceful place, with nice and happy people, I loved it!🇧🇷😃
It's a shit hole to be honest ravaged by drugs and families living in fear of the drug gangs. We have a big problem with Gangland killings here now, Dublin is definitely not the place you would want to go visit as a tourist. I live in Tallaght it's a Suburb of Dublin.
@@jonathanpatrick2729 Well no shit you're from Tallaght
Ha, there is always a bloody car alarm going off

The temple bar is nice place and iconic
I'm Irish and I'm currently away watching this. These little scenes make me love my county and country more than I do, sorry you didn't love it but it is a great city, temple bar is one of the worst places to stay and is not just Dublin you need to go well out of the centre to enjoy Dublin more! Like dun laoighre , sandymount and many other places.
Dun laoighre or sandymount lol are you serious
Jobstown is the true gem of Ireland

Looks like the craic was great that night ;)
Yeah, can't complain haha
I love how u went for pints 🍻
Haha thanks :)
Molly Heffernan / the flying stool bar up in Tallaght was a great spot sitting desolate for years now
Great
I live near Wicklow town so we always go to Dublin
Was laughing seeing the burger at the end, reminds me of that nasty cold fast food burger I got in dublin our last night.
muy bonita ciudad muy alegres buenos amigos buena comida.un saludo desde culichi town.
Temple bar is the last place an actual Irish person would go on a night out.
really? why?
Not true jono👎🏻
Place for tourists not Irish
@@MauricioSouza-93 over priced tourist trap
First place?
Very Nice!!
Goog! For me it’s nice and interesting your video!!!
Perfect city 💯✨👌🌇
I would of loved to join you when you were here!
You got the league of nation with you.
I was thinking Temple Bar is looking very quiet most nights its packed and you can barely squeeze into the pubs. If you are intending to stay in a hotel in Dublin make sure you book online in advance as you will find the hotels get booked out pretty fast particularly on the weekends
Thanks!
Seems you had a good time in Dublin and yes, the Guinness tastes so much better in Ireland as it does outside the country. Actually, I'm addicted. We found Portershouse, also very nice place to drink a variety of beers.
I'll never drink a guinness in the U.S.A again :)
Porterhouse is great for world beer, American IPAs to Belgian, Dutch, Irish stouts etc.
As for Temple Bar. Yes.. as a local Dubliner, I would never go there. There are just some great bars on the edge without the extortionate prices that have live music or even club music.
Tuesday night isn't a good night to go out.. as you would expect so Temple Bar was probably a safe bet.
Great video btw. It's always nice to get an outsiders perspective.
Met ya at the Pub Ireland is a fun country
6 bloggers walked into a Barr. sad that this is the final episode of the Ireland series. 11 euros, that's expensive.
You're to funny, you know that.

Dublin is brilliant
As an Irish person from Dublin the comments are so funny 😹
Where are you from 😉
Olivia Hegarty UP THE IRISH 🇮🇪❤️
dang Dublin looks like such a rad city!!!
It's certainly got interesting night life!
World Wide Wong it's not... I live there, it's nothing like what this video makes it out to be
It's actually shit. Galway is probably the city most liked by the people here.
Here Be Barr ? Dublin and other part's of The Island has It's Charactor's ;-) I know I'm one of them :-P lol
Alan McD Galway sucks too many students!
Super danke spasibo .!!!,😙😎😊😉
There are some crème behind the beer, and some dancers. The name of my paint is "crème de peinture" to clean my house.
アイルランドいいな〜

Im from dublin and it will cost you about 7euro for a pint of beer in temple bar and outside of temple bar around dublin usually around 5euro a pint but if you want a good owl irish party then you must go to temple bar the atmosphere is second to none
@Bettencourt..Dublin for me is good for all seasons..but the rain in Spain stays mainly on the plainlol..i should know,as im from Cork boy..are u fom Cork?
i love you my favourite and favourite country miss you irland
I was in Ireland for three days and found it to be one, big, DUD.
Ireland... Or Dublin?
Top tip for people travelling to Ireland; don't stay in Dublin. Travel the Wild Atlantic Way, visit rural Ireland for the actual real Irish experience and for prices that won't leave you robbed. Visit the Dingle Peninsula, stay a night in Galway City, go to the English Market in Cork or visit the largest sea cliffs on Achill Island
Love from India 🇮🇳🙏
This is great video! I really enjoyed your vlogging commentary! Keep up the awesomeness!
Gracias :)
April Erhard hi
Frankly said bro about Temple bar 👍
Aaah, Me hometown, Dublin...
Temple bar a kip over price drink water down..... big time
I love you Ireland

Too bad I couldn't finish the night with you guys. I was too tired but glad you had fun
Yeah, you sat this one out hahaha.
Me too guys I had to leave early glad you had fun

I'm from Scotland but married to an Irish woman. Temple Bar is to Dublin what Times Square is to NYC, without the bright lights.
I LIVE THERE LOL!
Hi I am Saajan from Bangladesh, I want to go Ireland for study. Can you help me to give some information?
@@primosaajan8845 The country is shite, don’t come here
cool video 😊😊
My two favorite places Gweedore and killiney
O donoghues! Best Pub in town
Yep!!!
Faith and begorrah!
Galway, Cork, Limerick, Belfast and Sligo are the city’s you should go to in Ireland.
Paddlez-is-king.... Sligo isn't a city you donkey.
Lovely video Jon. Honest and accurate. Temple Bar is awful on weekends, a zoo with pints. And St John Gogartys is possibly the most expensive pub in the country, possibly the world! But St John's and Temple Bar can be great on Monday to Thursday because, bar Flannery's and Coppers there's not many lively spots in Dublin.
I often see Americans arrive here in organised tours with timetables of exactly where to visit and when they will go. A bit unIrish as we are pretty relaxed on some things when we like to chillout. If you get back here try going to see the greatest games in the world, hurling and gaelic football, I am definitely biased saying that. czcams.com/video/BbRGk5nvfqU/video.html The championships in May to (in 2018) early September, has many exciting games and before the last few weeks there are usually plenty of seats available unless Dublin play in Croke Park. On St Patrick's Day we have the club finals in hurling and football in Croke Park.
I wonder if many tourists would try the opposite of an organised tour: Hire a car and follow their nose. Start driving and stop somewhere that looks interesting, a pub, restaurant, cycling greenway, monument and find somewhere fairly local to stay. Get chatting to a few locals over some food, a few pints and discover the real Ireland, where the pace of life is a bit slower. Dublin is a great city and McDaids and kehoes are fine pubs but, again, as a biased culchie, I'd recommend strolling and relaxing in the country to see what we offer.
I felt like I had to show Temple Bar b.c so many tourists go there.. but TBH, it was my least favorite stop and least favorite video of my ireland series (so of course it has the most views hahahah).
You're grand. You picked a goodnight for it. Weekends it tends to be full of kids whereas midweek a lot of shiftworkers, adults, head out just to enjoy themselves. Not just to get drunk first. Galway is the best city in Ireland with plenty to do in the countryside within 50 miles north and south of it. Westport is a great town and Lahinch and Sligo are also great sots. But many tourists come here to see culture but never see our Gaelic games of hurling and football. I think that's a shame and they really miss out. Not just the games but the craic and banter between supporters before and after games. All the players are amateur. No games like them anywhere in the world. The sign of a good pint of Guinness if you're thinking of getting one is to observe someone's empty Guinness glass. A good pint will have the creamy head remnants still stuck to the glass.
i am planning to go to Ireland for the first time. do they have tour guides there ?
skeedledoo I'm Irish, born and bred in Dublin. Yes we have guided tours or you can pre-book the hop on hop off tour busses or for an authentic Dublin experience contact me here, I'll show you the real Dublin and not just the tourist traps.
And try go to places other than Dublin because everywhere else is completely different
Stay away from dublin its a shithole full of junkies abd thieves
Nice
For the longest time, I thought Temple Bar was one single Bar in Dublin. I didn’t realize it was a small neighborhood within the city
But, if yow compare it to Times Square, I’m sure I’d had it.
I don’t like the Irish Pubs in Times Square
Hi Lopez .how are doing?
The reason us Irish stay clear of temple bar is it's a total rip off! Like charging 7:50 (give or take) for a bottle of beer I pity the tourists being ripped off
I’m from Ireland!
