Unless you have watched a few episodes best not comment as out of context it does seem strange, watch it and see how much stranger it can get. Not sure how or why but often found myself shaking my head, then belly laughing, then shaking my head again, but ultimately watched 3 series in 24 hours... it pulls you in and you cant help it! Strangely addictive and at times, if you have a certain sense of humour, brilliant and very vey funny.

it took a couple episodes to get into this show, because he's so dumb that you think it's just really dumb jokes or they're making fun of a guy with a disability or something...but by at least the 3rd episode you're hooked, and it probably didn't help that I started at the 2nd season for some reason

It makes sense why CBC in Canada would carry this crap...its the same kind of multi culti crap they make for sitcom types of shows.
Its horrible American style Millennial comedy (the office)...sent to the CBC in Canada for Multicultural grafting seasoning and sent to England and dressed us as British comedy.

Multi-Culti? He's Greek mate, not exactly exotic is it? North London is full of Greek and Cypriots, which is where the main actor was born: Barnet, so he is as English as you and I, actually.

Ethnicity and heritage means an awful lot to certain groups in the UK. It does for the English too. Our culture is being eradicated and washed in this modern British multicultural mess.
