About Don't Worry Darling:
Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. The 1950’s societal optimism espoused by their CEO, Frank (Pine)-equal parts corporate visionary and motivational life coach-anchors every aspect of daily life in the tight-knit desert utopia.
While the husbands spend every day inside the Victory Project Headquarters, working on the “development of progressive materials,” their wives-including Frank’s elegant partner, Shelley (Chan)-get to spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury and debauchery of their community. Life is perfect, with every resident’s needs met by the company. All they ask in return is discretion and unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause.

I feel sorry for Harry here. Yeah he isn’t the best actor but it’s only made worst by the fact that he is sharing the scene with a phenomenal actress
I feel like Harry shouldn't play a main character role yet, He's still kinda new to acting and definitely needs more experience (I like Harry im a fan of his but he still need some work)

I love the reference at 4:25. It took me a long time to figure out what it's referencing with the red light and blue light. You might think maybe it's symbolism for day and night, maybe refering to the loop she's stuck in. I don't think so though, I think it's actually a refrence to the Movie the Matrix- another movie about being stuck in a computer simulation. It's only natural for this movie to derive inspuration. In the Matrix Morpheus offers Neo a red and blue pill, the red pill allowing him to go back to the world of before and the blue pill allowing him to gain new insight to his false reality. Morpheus even makes a reference to Alice in Wonderland while giving this speech which this main characters name is Alice and she is clearly trapped in wonderland. The whole scene is suppose to convey how Alice is becoming more and more aware of being trapped in a flase reality.
I mean- there are much better actors but I don't think Harry's acting was bad. I've heard that Florence felt uncomfortable with him. I'm not sure why. This isn't my favourite movie. All of the actors were great I just didn't like the plot. Idk why.
It was bc Harry and Olivia Wilde would often go off for long periods of time during filming, no one knowing where which the rest of the cast started to get frustrated about

This is a style over substance film. Nice to look at and the idea behind it is great. Very Stepford Wives. But there are too many plot holes and not a great payoff for it being over 2 hours long.

@@amandaford4237 He excels at the first, is mediocre at the second, and a complete dud at the third. If he wants to take acting seriously he'll need to put in the work and get some proper training, then take on small roles that suit his abilities until he's better at it. As of now he just deflates every scene he's in.
