ATARASHII GAKKO is Awesomeness that begs explanation, I love them , but I don't know why, I just do!
Well it is odd, but I think I know why you love them, the music is WICKED!! I love things that are not what you expect, and are completely unapologetic about it.
Atarashi Gallo is always so fun.
Many Japanese women are unexpectedly funny, adorable and weird.

Atarshii Gakko no Leaders is not a band. They are a singing dance troop. That is, they are a group of dancers who sing while they dance. They are very funny. The girls recently came to America to make this video.
I saw a clip of them dancing and being funny after I posted the video. They do look like a lot of fun. We are going to enjoy watching their videos.
Try their song 'Freaks', which has an amusing video as well as being quite a kick-ass song. They're an entertaining bunch of girls and weirdAF - which we all enjoy!
It is the WeirdAF part that caught me. I love that if you just saw a picture, you would expect something completely different from them then what you get.
I think Freaks might be in my top three of Atarashii Gakko
Hopefully they pick up that guy. He is Money Mark, aka the Fourth Beastie Boy, so he knows some things. He helped them across this song from creation to direction to production. You two are both dorks. 😄

The Hitch Hiker is Money Mark .. He has worked with Beastie Boys, RHCP, Beck, Linkin Park etc. He worked on the screen play for the video. That's prob how they got the Trailer Park and the Area 51 stuff so good.

They have quite a few jazz influenced songs on the two albums, especially the works featuring H ZETTRIO.
There's been more of a Hip Hop flavor with the last few singles.
The members create all of their own choreography, and contribute many of the lyrics.
I'm hoping they're the next big thing out of Japan.

Great reaction. I just discovered AG! They are absolutely amazing and I love them. If you like unique music, you should react to BabyMetal. They are also from Japan and BabyMetal is my favorite band. You will love them if you havent reacted already to them.
Atarashii Gakko is incredible. Babymetal we have been fans of for years, and have heard everything already. We have done a lot of reactions to Nemophilia, Hanabie, Band-Maid, and Lovebites though. Most of the videos should have links to those playlists in them.

We really want to, not sure when we will get back there, lots of videos to make. I have however managed to make a few open spots in the release schedule, so hopefully soonish. They were so different and interesting we are itching to get back and check out more.
Just stopping by to say I've listened to the new this wild life album twice now it's so good. Idk how many singles off this album you heard but they released half the album as singles it's only 10 song album but very good. Let me know what you think if it when you hear it whether you make a video out of it or listen to it in your own time. Also 7pm PST they doing concert performing album love on twitch...idk what timezone you're in but that's 10pm for me on other side of country from them
I am in East Coast Canada, so that would be 11PM for me. I have heard one song I think, the one where he is in the Garage. I want to check out some of the songs on the new album, maybe as reactions, just have to find some extra time for them. Love how their voices sound together.

This is the original ukulele version haha but yea This Wild Life usually has 2 or 3 songs an album that break me haha even if it's like 1 line or the chorus or like the single on this new one you've heard most of the song hits home haha.... Idk Petaluma(album with flower on cover) is my standard for their music it's my favorite album by them but idk this new one comes close

I was having a trawl back through your videos to see what other great reactions I'd missed (a few, but now caught up) and realised that you're yet to discover the most refreshing Japanese Metal band in decades (certainly since Slipknot refreshed the scene 20 years ago), Babymetal. My first Metal gig was Sabbath in 76 and my last was Babymetal in 2020 and they really are one of the most skilled, surprising and consistently brilliant bands I've seen in 45 years of Metalling and Headbanging. Like Band-Maid, they are best experienced live so can I recommend you give their song Headbanger at Legend 97 a go ( czcams.com/video/QEsOaMbNFww/video.html ) or, if you want to see one of the best Metal concert finales ever (and I've watched Maiden, Metallica, Slipknot and Rammstein finish their shows in pretty spectacular style) try 'BABYMETAL Death' live at Legend 97 ( czcams.com/video/VE34mRpi6Qk/video.html ). The Babymetal rabbit hole (or Fox Hole as it's known) is very, very deep, though! They even invented their own genre of Metal, Kawaii Metal (Cute Metal) and it's a beautiful thing. 🦊🤘🤘🦊
