The campaign, while short, is one of the best I've played to date. Definitely recommend it.
It's also a great introduction to the basic mechanics, while being ~7 hours of pure, uninterrupted fun.
Nothing beats being a Pilot and having a friendship with your giant mech, BT-7274. I haven't touched the game in a couple years, but I played the HELL out of it back in 2016 to 2020 and let me tell you, it is some of the absolute most fun. While I do love Halo, Titanfall 2 is definitely way up there. And with the servers back in working order, I'm definitely going for more PvE action.
I was afraid it had been overhyped when I first started it a few months ago. But man, good game design does not get outdated.

The only reason this game almost died was respawn working on apex while DDOS just destroyed it, because is one of the best shooters I have ever played

@@reganator5000 imo dishonored 2, which came out like 2 weeks after titanfall 2, did the exact same concept as effect and cause in its campaign but was significantly better, mainly due to the game being an immersive sim and the whole "cause and effect" mechanic was way more dynamic and expanded upon. You could also do things in the past on that mission that would literally flat out change the present for the rest of the game, and these things were totally optional and missable. Not to take away from titanfall, because it's time travel mission was great too, but I just think the amount of unending praise for TF2's mission confuses me when dishonored 2 is right there lol
@@udontknowme00 yeah, just completely different genres. If we were doing classic time travel sets, you'd also have braid and day of the tentacle in there for platformers and point-and-click puzzle games respectively.

Fun fact, when ejecting form your titan, when your pilot looks down to pull the eject handle, you will see red text at the bottom of the titan screen. It will say something different every time. For example at 5:45 it says "Protocol [03]" witch is a reference to the campaign. It will also say different things like "Just another day in the office." I still don't think I have seen them all.

It’s crazy how many people haven’t ever played titanfall. It’s been one of my favorite game franchises going all the way back to 2014 when titanfall 1 released and it’s a series every fps fan needs to at least try. Honestly it may be the most underrated shooter ever.
Had no idea this gem was having a resurgence, I'm definitely hopping back on at some point, this game is SO GOOD! Also, I'd definitely recommend playing the campaign, maybe I'm nostalgia blind because I haven't played it in many years, but I remember it being really good, the two things I'll never forget is that level with the special watch (when you know you know), it blew my teenage mind, and that ending has stuck with me to this day

Glad you could grapple by and enjoy a bit of Titanfall 2 Mint. Been playing since Titanfall 1 and I can confirm this is one of the best shooters that I own. I’m so happy it’s getting noticed again and picked up after the server stability fixes, aswell as the removal of major hackers from back in the day. Fingers crossed the growth remains positive and healthy. Thanks for giving the game a bit of a spotlight, we all appreciate it.

I played the campaign when I found this game on gamepass but the servers were down at the time so I never actually played the multiplayer. The campaign is amazing, the gameplay is so fun, the story is amazing, and every level brings in a new mechanic which is a really interesting and fun to play around with every time

Seeing the downfall of Halo has been truly heartbreaking, but Titanfall is genuinely the perfect game for the kind of content you've always made. I think this is perfect.

I think the last FPS campaign that I truly enjoyed was Titanfall 2's. Feels a little short playing it back again but I always go through the same amazing rollercoaster of a story every time. :)

I've thought about playing but the movement looks really complicated is it easy to get used too.
Maybe it's different in the second game, I never played it, but as a vet of the first it's really not that hard. Takes a bit of skill to actually make use of it effectively but you can manage fine as a noob. I'd recommend the first one since it doesn't have the silly slide mechanic and last I checked the servers are still up and healthy.
It looks complicated but its pretty easy to pick up.

With having some like you and your representation, hopefully that will help bring more people to the game and to its AMAZING campaign. Please do a video on just the campaign and show people what a gem the story is. Give the devs hard work some light.

I still like all the maps in tf2, but the tf1 maps were a lot cooler. There’s a team porting them all to tf2 on the norhtstar client

Titanfall 2 is amazing. I played on my PS4 when it was free with PSN. I was blown away by its multiplayer and its campaign. What i love most about Titanfall 2 is that it makes everyone feel like you MintBlitz. Everyone feels like a badass running and moving around the map at high speeds getting amazing kills
Lmao Mint absolutely destroys me (ShadowBeast6264) in the clip at 3:41, was unaware that he was using amped weapons. Saw him for like a frame before that amped CAR shredded me and was honestly more frustrated about the fact that he shot *me* instead of the guy way in front of me lol, good shit dude 👌 definitely keep the Titanfall vids coming

All of them. The only downsides they have is the weaknesses of each one, but as long as you know those weaknesses, you can prevent yourself from exposing them and punish others when they do it.
I know the Pilot movement is the biggest spotlight of this game, but the Titan V Titan gameplay has a lot of nuances too.
Like take Ronin for instance, sit down a new player as him and they just charge in and then die cuz he doesn’t have the healthpool to stay close range. The best way to use him is to play mid-close avoiding enemy abilities, make them use those abilities by baiting it out (sword block is key for this).

Hell yeah Blitz, it's always a good feeling when you find a game that just connects with you. I played the living hell out of this game. The Titan only game mode is really competitive and addicting too.
Nice to see you playing. The game is so unique, nothing else like it. When you get in the zone wall running, grappling, whizzing past someone with a shotgun and destroying them, its incredible. Its one of those games that gets so rewarding the better you get. Skill ceiling is so high. Its amazing to see it get a resurgence in 2023. It really deserved success. Its just CONSTANT action, no fluff, no bullshit, no sprinting across the map not running into anyone. You start, you're in 100%.
Played the hell out of this years ago and now that it's back I'm thinking it's time I pick it up again. I'd love to see more Titanfall 2 content from you, especially your thoughts on the campaign because it has some absolute banger hype moments. One of my favorite FPS campaigns to date, I'd put it up there with Halo 3 in terms of how much I just loved it.

Mint, been following you for a while and gotta say SO happy you decided to play titanfall. Definitely my all time favorite game... this being said a couple of pointers: You don't need the gravity star to boost the grapple, just try and figure out the angles for slingshot. Watch some advanced movement by monkeysniper, he does them very well (little tip: if you jump off a wallride 1 second or sooner after wallriding you preserve and gain momentum). Also can't express how happy i was to see you using the kraber, also my all time favorite weapon (3,000 kills or something on it myself). Last little tid bit, was a little dissapointed abt the tone gameplay but i'm sure you'll warm up to daddy scorch sometime soon.
your content is amazing and it is really cool to see you feature games and give some great feedback as well.

Also I’m just ecstatic to see the game make a comeback! You have no idea how hard it was for people, especially console players like me, to find matches over the years! I hope there will be a Titanfall 3, or at the very least some quality of life updates and new content for this game.
I’ve been having so much fun for the game, that even when I get my teeth stomped out of me, I’m having fun. I even decided to do a challenge to unlock every execution, not an easy task for a casual like me, with the hardest one that I completed being the Now You See Me where you execute 10 Pilots while being cloaked. Glad to see you’re having fun, hopefully this video will get many others to come back and fight for the Frontier!

I’m glad they revived this game. This was my brother and I’s daily routine when he was in the military. I’m glad people are starting to see why this game is so fun as well. No crappy SBMM, and if there is it’s practically broken because it’s either sweaty, casual or you stomp the other team.
The campaign is underrated as well.

i've played titanfall once or twice back just before the servers started messing up, but after watching this video i just might re-buy it on pc cause the game was so fun and i never knew about the grenade jumping and stuff that you showed in this video
As someone who has been playing for quite a while, I must tell you something. Kudos to you learning the movement. You have no clue how many people are missing out by not knowing how to properly move. Here’s some tips for you.
-If you’re using controller, use Bumper Jumper. It feels weird at first, but once you get used to it and use hold to sprint, you can really ski, and glide through the map whilst retaining speed. With your controller, you should be able to experience the game lurchless, which can be limiting in some ways, but overall makes the movement easier to learn.
-Nuclear eject is not that good. It can only be used if your Titan is close to death, and doesn’t do anything most the time. The Nuke Eject doesn’t really even protect you from being shot from the sky, and you’d be better off learning to use an eject to fly across the map. I would suggest Overcore or Turbo Engine, since they allow for extra offensive power and/or higher survivability.
There was a glitch where Turbo Engine slowed down the regeneration of dashes, but that was patched.
Oh! By the way, Overcore gives you that 20% each time you use your core, as well. Because of how much core you get, you even get your electric smoke instantly upon downing your Titan.
-The best Titan is Monarch. Don’t take this tip into consideration. Monarch is for people with a huge skill issue.

Been playing for almost 800 hours which isn’t a lot compared to my g100 counterparts but I played when it was at its lowest. Sticking with it for these past 3 years and finally seeing the love it should’ve gotten on launch makes me tear up
Ive played the campgain 5 different times and loved it everytime, currently on playthrough 6 on master difficulty and going for all collections and i love it the same as i did it 2016, and being a fiend with the movement makes it so much more fun. Glad more people are finding thus game now.

My favorite titan loadout was always Scorch. You can absolutely pile on damage by combining those flammable gas grenades, your base shot, the slam, and, especially if you build around it, the flame shield. You can melt titan health bars with that setup.
But you gotta admit, Ronin-Northstar-Ion get the upperhand over Tone-Legion-Scorch-Monarch

Titanfall 2 multiplayer was a wonderful refinement on Titanfall 1.
Titanfall 2 campaign came out of nowhere and is one of the greatest fps campaigns of all time. It had no business being that good, but IT WAS!

I started playing Titanfall 2 a few days ago, and I absolutely love it. Both the Campaign and Multiplayer is awesome.

The campaign in this game is one those stories, where you come back and play the game at least once a year
I no longer play competitive shooters but Titanfall 2 is the last one I did play. I tend to judge movement shooters by this standard now.
It's so good when you get into a match with similar skill levels.
Can get utterly heartbreaking if only one side has that one guy who's flying around the map with perfect accuracy, countering your titans easily.
There is also Frontier Defense which fills my robot fun time fix.
