Use the right tools for the job, don't bodge it.wire stripers ,Solder the wires, then use heat shrink tubing to insulate. Unless you want to have your car go up in flames like this guy lol 😆

Right so bare with. I’ve got a mk6 and currently the only option I’ve got when skipping a song, is to open my phone and change it while driving. Is there anything I can buy to essentially give me a ‘skip song’ button option to my car/radio??... (cheap)

@@bensmith132 hey there! So I got that one from a local store near where I live but the model I've got is a FMT400BTUSBBK from Sunstech.
But there are lots of FM transmitters and almost all of them have buttons so have a look around in stores near you :-)

I never had the cage installed, I just used styrofoam and tucked it under the doubledin screen until it was firm and non-movable

Only thing holding that head unit in is a few twisted wires, annoying and stealable....

Was there a gap at the bottom after you installed it is there a surround for it so that there's no gaps after fitting a double din stereo?

Yours is a mk5 fiesta mate, the mk6 and up support the the double dim slots And have the shutter type air vents, good vid tho
