I’m so glad they changed it to retract its head when it’s in a ball… er… cube. Not only does it look better and make more sense, the animation of it is an absolute treasure 😂😂😂
At last something to scare spiders away. Use this with a spider spawner and keep them out of the corners.

Armadillos are my favorite animal. I think they are underrated. I was so happy to see they won!
They need more savanna mobs. And maybe Savannah dogs can be hostile untill you tame them

I love armadillo, but they feel so lonely. Savannah is one of the best biomes for animals. But it feels so empty in Minecraft

armadillos are primarily insectivores so maybe they have plans to have them take out silverfish.
i feel like phantoms are underated, looking at the potato update which was an april fools update... it seems most people glossed over the fact you could craft potato elytra with membranes, indicating that they could impliment that in the future with normal elytra which would be completely epic
God I hope not that would be horrible. Elytras are endgame for a good reason

So your best bet is to just get several brushes and put unbreaking III on them and just go crazy
I just want to say without the armadillo. We probably would not have gotten the wolves. That is one of the major reasons why the armadillo is worth the mob vote. By the way i've been playing it for the past couple of days and already i've gotten five out of the eight new wolves. So when I last finished playing minecraft , I left myself in a old pine taiga So right away I knew I was gonna get a black wolf but I got a black puppy. And then I explored a little further and I found my first set of armadillos. I actually collected like 2 black wolves. And then I was trying to venture my way back home on my camel which was very difficult And on my way I encountered the rusty wolf the woods wolf the Striped Wolf And the gray wolf from the snowy taiga All in a span of a few hours and a couple of days. Now all I need is the spotted Wolf, The white wolf from the grove And The other wolf from the Old spruce taiga. And all of them have armor by the way. I brought 2 armadillos from my nearby Savannah. And leash them to my house So I just have infinite scutes. Also while I was carrying them no one told me that they just randomly dropped the scute like just poop it out

I still think they can add the different color to armadillos. I wouldn't be against it.And they can also say now they also spawn in deserts. I still think it should be like how the frog is so based on where they will develop that color. If They spawn in a desert yellow armadillo, If it's in the bad lands reddish orange armadillo And if it's in the savannah brown maybe purple depending on the variant. I even had a beautiful idea where the scutes would match the color of the armadillo.And then you would make the armor with that base color. See? even more customization to go with the wolf variants

Llamas give leather (including trader ones), so do horses, donkeys, mules, and hoglins. U can also craft it from 4 rabbit hides. If it’s the animal un-aliving that gets u, u can barter for it from piglins and fish for.

I still don't understand why the armadillo is in this update, and not 1.21
The pattern has been one mob vote winner per major update
Now 1.20 has both the sniffer and armadillo, and 1.21 most likely won't have one
Unless this is signifying an end to the mob vote
All this signifies is that Mojang has changed the way they do updates. The exact version number matters less now. If a feature is completely ready they will add it in. And Armadillo was worked on by the smaller group. Armadillo would be way closer in 1.21 then 1.20.

It was made in the same dev cycle, we were getting it's snapshost in the middle of the 1.21 snapshots. They are a 1.21 feature. They just get released a bit earlier.

@@wattlesplays Armadillos are garbage, they'd be perfectly fine if sea turtles didn't exist yet somehow Mojang themselves don't remember that sea turtles are in the game and instead of giving a use to an existing mob that desperately needed one they added a brand new one unnecessarily instead.
Not to mention locking a heavily requested feature behind a mob vote is scummy
Idk I feel like I'm one of the only people who likes the mob vote, I voted for crab but I honestly think the armadillos use is the best ( I still like penguin and crab though)

@@EmperorPenguin1217 My suggestion would be that Turtle Scutes can craft a different type of armor for wolves, Armadillo and Turtle wolf armor could serve different purposes
