Matthew's story ended with a M. Night Shyamalan plot twist. I didn't see that coming. 🤣
Even twistier, M. Night Shyamalan was later on Graham Norton and said that in fact they HAD been hanging out together and that they got separated while club hopping and he went home. Matthew Perry's mistake was only at the very end of the night.
The real plot twist is that he DID hang out with M. Night Shyamalan, but he was too drunk to notice that at some point during the evening M Night left and that random guy joined him XD
They did hang out though. M. Night was interviewed two weeks ago and said they hung out that night

for those who didn't understand: Matthew Perry WAS SUPPOSED to be in the movie, scenes were shot with him, but they were simply cut out without announcing it.
And yes, his story is iconic
Thanks for the clarification. Initially I thought "oh boy did they mix up Tyler Perry and Matthew Perry?". Turns out Matthew Perry had a cameo that was cut from the final movie.
