it baffles me that my 2 starter villagers (lyman & plucky) share a birthday. the odds of me having 2 villagers with the same birthday were already incredibly rare, but those 2 villagers being the 2 randomly generated jock and sisterly is even crazier! what a lovely surprise :D

For me, the rarest thing I've gotten in this game is not only sharing a birthday with a villager, but sharing a birthday with a STARTER villager. Since New Horizons is my first ever Animal Crossing game, I didn't know any character nor what any of their birthdays are. To think that the game basically just gave me a birthday twin just like that lol

I was amazed when I saw the Aurora. I didn’t think they would add a spectacle of nature to animal crossing. Also I got heavy shooting stars when I first saw my first shooting star session.

I had recently watched this and today I log in to my game, went to talk to a villager about a lost item and was shocked when they talked about a double rainbow! Dagnel your video brought me my first double rainbow! Thank you
I literally had the heavy shooting star shower two days ago and I think I made a wish to them like 50 times. The next day I found 11 star fragments at the beach. 10 of them were the regular ones and one was a scorpio one. Yay?

this happened a few days ago and i knew it was gonna be flick who was visiting the next day. combine those 39 tarantulas with a museums worth of peacock and agrias butterflies and i jumped from 5M to 7M in one day HDHDHSH

Update: I recently let Margie move out and resumed the hunt. After 68 mystery islands I found the elusive Raymond and had him move in.
He was like the third villager to visit my campsite! Now if only I could get Diana.

October 15th has three villagers that share a birthday apparently. Might be interesting to calculate how rare it is to have all three on your island if that's even possible.

I never even knew they were a thing in the game. Were they there from the very beginning? Because I played like +300 hours the first month the game came out and literally never saw them, and then I took a really long break, one of my villagers telling me it's been like 11 months or so...
(I basically rage quitted because the new fishes were super rare and near impossible to catch, demanding insane reaction times for such ultra casual game)

I felt like the luckiest person ever when after starting my island in March I got 3 of my dreamies in 1 day irl (I was time travelling through the first month). I got Henry as the first and mandatory campsite villager, Muffy on the first villager hunt on the 3rd ticket and Cyd autofilled the day after Muffy coming. that was truly crazy for me since on my previous island I didn't have any dreamies after playing for 5 months without time travelling. and a few weeks ago I found Raymond in my campsite! absolute shock that was. I don't really like him that much but took him cuz I had to get rid of an enemy. turns out he's pretty chill but definitely 10 times less exciting for me than my other cat villager and a dreamie Tabby

COmpletely unrelated to the topic of the video, but i love the path pattern you have
I don’t remember if it was on this video, the part two, or somewhere on Twitter, but someone mentioned that they once had two phone calls in the same morning (which I’ve also had). There’d now be a way to potentially get THREE phone calls, but you’d need a reasonably new save file to do step two.
1. Donate something to the Nook’s Cranny dropbox. The Nooks will call you in the morning to let you know the Bells have been deposited.
2. Visit Harvey’s Island for the very first time and take one Villager. Normally he will call you reach your island & leave your airport, but if you save & quit from HIS island & pick the game up the next day, he’ll call you then instead (either before the Nooks or after, I don’t remember which)
3. Installing the Happy Home Designer DLC will make Tom Nook call you & ask you to meet Lottie at the airport
I know there are other one-time things that result in phone calls as well, but I don’t remember what those are. Anyone else able to help me out?
I have had that situation where I got 3 phone calls.

When I first started playing, I had shooting stars and invited my friends to come over. it was the first time I'd seen stars in AC ever! It was a heavy star pattern because I literally could not walk anywhere without 3-4 stars happening. I completed the nook miles achievement in that 1 night for making all the wishes on the stars, it was crazy!
I just had a double birthday on my island because I have rod and leopold and leopold mentioned how he doesn’t like sharing the spotlight but will make an exception for rod which was cute
The whole game is really luck-driven, a lot of things are just "do this until you get the desired result"

It was my first day looking for Raymond, I used a ticket to go to an island to find him. No villager was there. I came back to my island to finish building a camp. I talked to Mitzi and she talked about the house that was sold. The person who bought it was Raymond.
can’t they ask if someone wants to leave when they’re in your campsite?? i mean, they’d pick a random villager from the ones in your island and say “i heard that ___ wants to leave”. idk i had that happen with alice i think

Played an indecent amount of Animal Crossing, and most special thing to happen to me was two balloons lining up. It was during easter season, so double balloons, and I had put my switch in sleep mode at one point. Another factor is that the balloons moved at different speeds. Anyway, I ended up shooting two balloons with one shot, which was pretty neat
I got a heavy shooting star on my first shooting star show. Was pretty neat but I got the impression that every shooting star show would be heavy afterwards.

I feel this (granted I really do not like Raymond lmao), Marshal was my first campsite villager and I am so thankful
9:30 the math is even more complicated than that considering not all birthdays are created equal. I know for a fact people's birthdays are not spread evenly throughout the year, so the likelihood that a particular person was born on a particular day of the year needs to be factored in before the problem can begin. I believe 9 of the 10 most common birthdays are in mid September which is pretty much packed full of ACNH birthdays.

@@KVoinre IMO there’s so much QoL stuff missing from NH and a general lack of content. There are cool new features but after a year I’ve stopped playing. The repetitive villager dialogue is really disappointing and makes daily play monotonous and cheap.

Like I can understand Feb 29th bc it's a Leap Year day, I can understand April 1st bc its April Fools, I can understand October 31st bc its Halloween (even though it would make sense that Jack should have Halloween as his birthday) and I can understand Dec 24th bc its Christmas Eve, but April 15th?? theres literally nothing major on April 15th ☹

I got Tasha in my town in October and I was so surprised to share birthday with her in November 30th. What's worse: Kicks was in my town that day, and he apparently also shares birthday with us.

I have gotten a trash island before, and one of my first 5 or so villagers (don't remember exactly which one), Piper, shares my birthday. I'm glad that I've had at least something on this list happen to me!
