Don lived to be 84 he had a good life! Hard sometimes touring on the road all the time but; doing what he loved & good at it! Lead singer.. & harmonizing with his brother Phil together best harmonizing duet ever!!☆☆☆☆☆ missed RIP&RIP 🙏

They were perfection and sheer class and I never tire of watching and listening to them, they were both exceptional in their own right but together phenomenal!!!

I have read so much about later musicians and the influence the Everly Brother's had on future music, but I still get lost when listening to them. Such beautiful harmony and songs. They are among the greatest ever, and they created the path for so many that followed.

I listened to them when I was in High School and in my 20’s. They had the most amazing Harmony! I have always been a fan of Harmony and when I was in my early 30’s I finally learned to sing harmony. I sang in 3 gospel quartet’s the last 1:44 one we went for over 14 years! I am 68 now and have been sick for the past 3 or four years and I miss it so very much! I miss the fellowship with the group so very much! There is just an empty space there! I know that when the Everly Brothers had to quit singing it had to be the hardest thing they ever had to do!!! You just can’t imagine how much you can miss going and sing to people until it’s over!!! I’m so sad to now they have both Passed on! Hopefully they are singing together again now!!!
My sister, three years younger than me, used to say that I would always be older than her. Sadly it was true, she died at age 56 whilst I am still here at 75, It makes me sad to think about it
Siblings can sometimes blend their voices better than any singers that are unrelated. Not always, but there have been family groups where that sound is something that can’t be duplicated. But who ever made that special magic like the Everlys?
