Webinar on Low Frequency Oscillation in Power System

This video is from the Webinar Series Organised by ERLDC in Collaboration with IIT Patna. The Topic is Low-Frequency Oscillation (LFO) in Power System. In this webinar, the speaker describes the basics of small-signal stability, the Reason behind low-frequency oscillation, its classification, damping mechanism for LFO, Power system stabilizer and its tuning. Some good case studies in the Indian power system along with monitoring of LFO with the advent of synchrophasor devices has been described in this session. A bit lengthy but interesting session.
The video utilizes a good amount of details from the EPRI's Power System Dynamic Tutorial book which is a must-read for Power System Engineer.
