Every time you give us a thumbs up a Narwhal gets its horn! (maybe..) - Krátké a kreslené filmy
But seriously who would you cast for Doom?
Josh Brolin
I would want mads mikkelsen
Anthony Starr
I agree I would love Jason Isaacs as doom
Why did they change it from “house of harkness”
She-Hulk has been breaking the fourth wall, before Deadpool, ever since John Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk run from the late 80s and early 90s.
Yeah i came to the comments for that. It is like one of the common things people know about the character
@@graymorality Yes, this and Juggernaut situation.
I’m excited that they’re pulling from that run at least a bit
I was coming here to say this.
exactly.
i’m dying for marc/steven/jake to have significant role in one of the new movies. i’m literally so invested in his character
Same
I'd pay good money to see Robert Patterson as Edward fighting Robert Patterson as Bruce Wayne.
Let's bring Cedric Diggory in as well. Go Hufflepuff!
Totally! 😂
@@davidshillaker7578 He'll appear in Agatha:Covet of Chaos.
@@andrewg.3281 In that case we should probably also add the Golden trio to the mix. And all three of the actors who have played Dumbledore.
@@Cllocopine three?
Mads Mickelson would have been the perfect Doom. Still possible because of the multiverse stuff, but very unlikely.
To Brian Cranston would be a good doom. He can play a brilliant villain who is jealous of a old friend but unlikely because he is probably to old to be an old friend for who ever they get to play read. I also think he would be a good Norman Osborn aswell.
@@TheDrexLord Oh, my, god. Yes. For the Norman Osborne part. Like, he would be a good Doom too, but he would be a perfect Green Goblin, for real. And I think that he would have great chemistry with Tom Holland.
One love ❤️
@@TheDrexLord Jesse, I have terminal cancer. We need to destroy the multiverse.
Kinda off-topic, but I wonder whether they’ll have Matt Murdock and She-Hulk compete for the title of the best MCU lawyer - that’d be pretty interesting to see lol
Matt Murdock is too busy fighting people in hallways to be a great lawyer.
Daredevil isn't that serious a lawyer
@@jd1800 He's a really good lawyer
Not so much compete as best lawyer but on opposite sides in a trial. And both of them think they're in the right.
Jason Isaacs is a good choice for Doom I feel, Though I've felt like Daniel Craig would kill it as Victor Von Doom. it kind of depends on the age range they want to go with for the Fantastic Four though.
Antony Starr as vvd anyday
Considering Moon Knight went out of its way to isolate its story from the broader MCU, I find it very unlikely that Harrow will randomly become Dr Doom...
Yeah I'm sorry but I was like dude what on earth are you talking about, it feels like there is absolutely zero logic in that suggestion
I feel if anything mark would become doom. If his mind is controlled by someone else,
@@ked49 I... idek what to make of this, unless its a reference I'm somehow missing but idk man
I like how we’re at a point where not including gratuitous references to other MCU properties is seen as “went out of its way to isolate its story from the broader MCU”
@@ked49 That... could actually be possible. At least as a puppet Doom before the real one shows up. Better than a DoomBot.
Maybe someone has said this before in regards to Loki, but I'm convinced that the TVA is in the Quantum Realm. Reasons (spoilers for Loki):
1. They can access any point in the timeline from the TVA, like the Avengers did from the Quantum Realm.
2. There's a Kang statue in the TVA at the end of the final episode of season 1 and Kang is supposed to appear in Quantumania.
3. Mobius' comment about time passing differently in the TVA which is EXACTLY the same thing Scott says about the Quantum Realm.
I know none of this is conclusive but it makes sense in my mind. Just a theory.
That's a ridiculously cool theory!!
I really like that theory
I can’t believe I haven’t heard that theory before. It makes so much sense!
@@randoml97 Thank you.
The “you never know!” about adding Edward Cullen to Blade is honestly a hilarious possibility, and I am 100% here for it 😌
I would love to see Edward killed by Blade on screen.
Shouldn’t forget about Wanda’s 4th wall break in dmom too. I would say it could be a thing that requires a lot of power to do, but yea she hulk is able to, and does in the comics, as well as Deadpool. unless she hulk has some other underlying power set, or unique origin story of sorts, not sure how they’ll implement that Deadpool-esque ability besides comic relief. You could easily say Wanda became aware in her moment, as THE scarlet witch, and a nexus being, leaving her body to go into another, she could’ve somehow seen past her actions into the camera or something. With she hulk tho, (different in Deadpool, as everyone else ignores his 4th wall breaking) When she talks to the camera, Bruce seems to instantly also gaze either where she was, or notices the camera as well? Which is even more confusing
she-hulk has been breaking the 4th wall before deadpool.
Also, bruce was looking at her because he was confused at who she was talking to.
Unless it's been confirmed I never thought of that as a fourth wall break, characters can look directly at the camera and it doesn't mean they're breaking the fourth wall, I just figured it was sam raimi wanting her to come across as more creepy. Sorry but to me the idea that that was a fourth wall break is ridiculous.
Good God, Scarlet Witch's fourth wall break in DS:MoM was CHILLING! My girlfriend isn't easy to scare, but she actually admitted that scene TERRIFIED her!
@@tomunsworth2401 why else would she look at the camera?
It really was a 4wall break.
@@Drazelleverse same. Made me think of something the watcher would do lol. Like seeing past the bounds of the universe she was in, which happened to be where we were lol
Can't wait for D23 and hopefully the rest of phase 6 is announced.
No mention of I Am Groot at all?! It's the one I'm most excited of!
It's not canon
Question: If all the timelines come back together in Avengers 5 does that mean Thor and Loki could meet again?
Aww man that would be sweet, especially after the character growth they both underwent
now I'm gonna be mad if this doesn't happen
Which Loki?
theory: coven of chaos will introduce billy and tommy in the main mcu
There's a story with Blade and Black Knight in the comics, from the pages of Capt. Britain and MI:13. It involves Dracula trying to conquer England and turn it into a homeland for Vampires. This is also the story where Doom reveals that he has pieces of the true cross in his armor. Also, I was under the impression that when Stern was talking about Dr. Doom it was more a part in a Dr. Doom Movie or tv series.
I really hope the explanation for all the super people popping up is that the mutant gene is starting to become widespread. I feel like in season 2 of Luke Cage the villain was hinted at being a mutant himself "nightshade does not heal, it reveals"
idk about that. They couldn't use the x-men or mutants in the marvel-netflix shows.
@@projekttaku1 Fair point, I had just finished luke cage right before I wrote that so I really didn't have time to process my thoughts lol
@@projekttaku1 Disney owns Fox now. Anything that started pre-production after march 2019 could and can use mutants without any extra special deals between the studios. That's a big reason why we got to see Xavier in MoM, and why mutants are being introduced to MCU.
Stuff that started pre-production before march 2019 couldn't have relied on securing a certain IP for the show/movie, but that hurdle is now dealt with.
@@TheRawrnstuff so?
Luke cage was way before then, so obviously they weren't gonna hint at a character there to be a mutant.
@@buckethead60 lol
I saw the wsls news article about u guys today I’m so proud of your guys progress!!!
Thanks!
@@SuperCarlinBrothers of course thank you guys for all of the content over the years!!
Clearly the biggest (and I'd say insurmountable) villain in the entirety of the MCU is the American Legal System that She-hulk is going to go up against
and just like thanos, it won't be defeated.
@@projekttaku1 He literally was defeated though.
*Yeah, no surprise Kevin Feige wanted to end Phase Four quickly:*
*Black Widow:* Barely broke even at the box-office -- unsure about the Disney+ numbers.
*Shang-Chi:* Broke even with a little over $400 million on a $200 million budget ~
*Eternals:* Negative reviews and broke even (possibly lost money, too)
*No Way Home:* One of the greatest MCU films and Sony had 80% of control over it, including the revenue
*Doctor Strange:* Mixed reception but one of the best Phase Four films ~
*Love and Thunder:* Set to make less than Ragnarok
*Black Panther:* Hoping it'll be great
I think Shang-Chi only struggled because most countries still had fairly strict pandemic restrictions in place. Had they not been there, I think it would have done a lot better. At least it was very well liked
MCU is the profitable entertainment franchise in the history of cinema, through COVID, and today. Everyone wants to be them, nobody seems to be able to come close. Big target, easy to hit. Not only by toxic fans infected by "Star Wars Fan DIsease," but also by other countries who are actively engaged to tank the U.S. film industry and economy. Bots are fun!
BLACK WIDOW made $125 million for Disney Plus. By the way, this is not Bob Iger's Disney we are talking about anymore. This Bob Paycheck's Disney company. And admittedly, they should NEVER have pulled BW from theaters. It was on track to make millions and millions more. Complicated issue deserving more than oversimplifications.
SHANG-CHI cost $150 million, also had a shortened release window, during COVID-recovery times. It grossed $224.5 million in the United States and Canada, and $207.7 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $432.2 million, the most money ever earned by a film opening on Labor Day weekend. The film earned $13.2 million worldwide from IMAX, another Labor Day weekend record. Broke even?
ETERNALS, admittedly, is the second-lowest grossing MCU film ever, making only $164.9 million in the United States and Canada, and $237.2 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $402.1 million. The film's opening weekend earned $162 million globally, which was the second-largest worldwide opening weekend in the COVID-19 pandemic for a Hollywood film, of which IMAX contributed to over $13.6 million. Btw, it cost $200 million to make and promote. While nowhere like the USUAL huge box office gains by MOST Marvel films, this is no flop. Team Feige doesn't have any of those yet. Except in the minds of toxic fans.
BTW, did fans really hate ETERNALS? Why then, when released on Disney Plus, it had record-breaking views?
SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME is without doubt one of the greatest MCU films. Also one of the greatest money makers. Uh, do you think that was because of SONY, or Team Feige? If SONY, pardon me while I laugh uncontrollably. The house that brought us MORBIUS? And the upcoming abomination KRAVEN? And cringe-worthy MADAME WEB? C'mon. Garbage. Creative control of the REAL Spider-Man franchise belongs to Feige. Costing $200 million to make--paid mostly by Sony, btw. And thanks to Feige and friends, it grossed $804.8 million in the United States and Canada, and $1.096 billion in other territories for a worldwide total of $1.901 billion. It is the highest-grossing film of 2021, the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time behind movies with the word AVENGERS in them. It is the third-highest-grossing film in the United States and Canada, the highest-grossing Spider-Man film, and the highest-grossing film released by Sony (they should be thanking God every day for Kevin Feige).
Spider-Man is by far the most popular comic book superhero of all time. ANd yet, despite WONDERFUL videogames and the amazing animated SPIDERVERSE films (which also have collaboration with the MCU), every single day Spider-Man remains in the hands of Sony the IP depreciates. That's truth. Before Feige, who was Iron Man? Thor? Captain America? The Guardians of the Galaxy? Wanda and Vision? Household names now, beloved by people who wouldn't be caught dead in a comic store or watching cartoon shows.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness cost around $200 million to make. Grossing $411.3 million in the United States and Canada and $543.4 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $954.7 million, it currently stands as the second-highest-grossing film of 2022. It outdid 2016's Doctor Strange, that grossed a worldwide total of $677.8 million. That's a HUGE WIN considering this franchise alone is growing. Another once-obscure comic character to many average people has become a household name.
THOR LOVE AND THUNDER cost $250 million to make, and in just three short weeks it crossed the $600 million mark in sales. Time will tell if it beats its predecessor, RAGNAROK. I loved this movie, as I did the DOCTOR STRANGE sequel.
I also hope that BLACK PANTHER WAKANDA FOREVER will be a smash hit. It looks magnificent.
All this with Kangs (as in plural) and more importantly, DOOM, yet to come.
@SuperCarlinBrothers. Is agents of shield part of the mcu? Can we maybe get a video on how it ties in? I feel like it’s important because of the introduction of inhumans in doctor strange
Thank goodness for this channel or I would be so lost! I'm lost already but at least I know I can come back here to sort it all out. Thanks!
It would be cool if there was a way that Agents of Shield got reintroduced into Canon
YES PLEASE IM BEGGING. I atleast want them to bring Daisy in MCU
Was hoping for coverage! Thanks lads!
Alexander Skarsgård & Regé-Jean Page are 2 actors I would LOVE to see play Doctor Doom. I couldn't decide with one I wanted THE MOST.
Would seriously love to see you guys go hard into the marvel content. You barely scratch the surface and its so much fun watching you dig in
great vid!
4:04 Breaking the fourth wall was the signature move of She-Hulk way way before it became Deadpool's.
They already had a perfect Doom in the 2005 film. Yes, the movie was cheesy, yes it could have been better on multiple levels, but Julian McMahon had the perfect blend of charisma, intelligence and cockiness.
Rainn Wilson for Dr. DOOM. Jim vs Dwight on the big screen.
As far as I know, She-Hulk was the first character in the Marvel comics who broke the fourth wall, maybe it’s a characteristic She-Hulk thing they’re adding to the series
If Jason Isaacs doesn’t end up playing Doom… My father will hear about this!
Does this mean It’s possible for Captain Carter to make a reappearance in the MC you? I still think we should be given some sort of movie or a show that takes us through What happened when Captain America went back to the 1940s, I know I’m not the only one interested to see what his life with Peggy was like. Personally I would love to see a Steve Rogers and piggy Carter Multiverse battle where they both have super soldier serum and fight a big bad, why not throw Sam’s captain America in there as well, could be an incredible Multiverse, if we can combine things like that together. There is an endless stream of possibility and cameos, when talking about combining worlds into one timeline
There is an Agent Carter tv show set in the 40s on Disney+
@@red5_skywalker I know, She’s such a great character, that’s why I want to see her in the MCU.
Captain Carter will return in What If...? Season 2
I can’t get the image of this guy picking up his chair and moving to the other side of the shot every other sentence out of my head
It'll be cool to see Hulk, and Thing becoming best friends in the MCU.
They're not best friends, but good friends, in the Comics. Making them besties in the MCU wouldn't be a big stretch from the source-material.
There’s a reason why they didn’t announce anything live action with X-men is actually an interesting reason. So even though Disney bought Fox and acquired the rights to the X-men, they also inherited all the active contracts with the X-men actors, so legally they can’t use certain characters from the X-men without it being the same actors from the Fox universe until those contracts expire which is in about 6 to 8 years. Like if they want to use Magneto it has to Michael Fassbender, it’s why the Giancarlo Esposito rumor about Professor X is false, it’s also why the Quicksilver we saw in WandaVision was Evan Peters, because legally it had to be him because his contact is still active, it wasn’t just them trolling us. So if they want to do anything anytime soon with X-men we saw in the Fox universe, it has to be those actors
My hope is just that these next phases are better than phase 4. And that Secret wars isn’t just fan service the movie.
Every Avengers film is fanservice: the movie.
9:34 I agree, him or Fassbender.
Ok, how have I NOT thought of the idea of Doom and his country being in Wakanda Forever? I'm now DESPERATE for that to come true!
So glad to see how you guys tied together all three fictional countries (technically four with Sokovia) and figuring out how Doom is coming was well done! Also, the clear glasses are looking good. Guessing there was a J vs Ben coming up?
THANK YOU!!!
Prlly most excited for both Avengers films
Man, I have SO much to catch up on! Thor Love and Thunder, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Shang ti and the 7 rings, falcon and the winter soldier, Moon Night
Shang-Chi is REALLY good.
My dream casting for Doctor Doom has always been Mads Mikkelsen.
The only problem with it is that hes already been in the MCU as Kaicilius (dont know if im spelling that right)
But, I think I have a work around for this. Since we now know that a multiverse exists, you could have Dr Doom be a variant of Kaicilius.
Its a bit of a weak setup i know but I just think that Mads Mikkelsen would be perfect for Doctor Doom
YES!! Someone else says Jason Isaacs! He would be soooo good. I didn’t even realize he played Malfoy lol
hope your feeling better.
Me and my sister watch you guys almost every day
Aw Thanks!
I can see Stern having a cameo in a Doom film. Maybe Victor is a guest on his show or they meet at some famous people event. I don't think he's going to play Doom himself though.
doom could be controlling the kang variants and at the end of avengers: the kang dynasty doom is revealed pulling the strings and it sets up the stage for secret wars
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be great. Bringing jamie lannisters morals into von doom would be special to see. A broken man who wanted to do the right thing but was also willing to do terrible things for what he thought was needed. He was also willing to be seen as the villain if it meant protecting the greater good. If you cant tell Dr. Doom and Deadpool are my greatest characters
Cullian Murphy would be an amazing Dr.Doom!
Giancarlo Esposito as Dr. Doom vs Jonathan Majors would be lit AF
I can’t believe they announced to whole phases
Same!
I know I can’t wait for them to come out
Jason Isaacs as super villain evil mastermind sounds great!
Also in Moonknight, when he's in the delivery truck escaping from the potential Latveria and gtting shot at, we see some crates in the back of the truck labelled "Von D---" so there's that
IM SO HYPE
i'm not sure why, but I got a huge kick out of the running gag of you saying "Victor (dramatic pause) von Doom"
If they do the Agatha series in the past with her witch crew in Salem and such I think it could be epic but I havent heard anything about it tbh
I hope we don’t have to see the origin of the F4 getting their powers, for me it’s like seeing Peter getting bit by the spider, if they have to do it for F4 I’d prefer they just use a brief flashback with Reed Richards narrating the scene rather than a full 20 minute build/showing them get infected by the power cosmic. Just a 5 minute flashback with narration will do, we all know the story, there’s been 2 different versions already (just like with Spider-Man)
The difference with Spiderman is that there were only 5 years between the Release of The Amazing Spiderman and Homecoming and by the time FF release there’ll be about 10 years between Fan4stic and FF 2024
Michael Fassbender would be my pick for Doom!
This video was a ride.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Doom. That’s Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones. I can see it.
Fun Fact: New World Order was the same title of the Pilot for Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Hi your my favorite channel I love you and you make me smile
Daw thanks!
Doom should be played by rainn wilson, aka dwight from the office.
Bill Nighy as Doom might be interesting.
I think the actor who plays Doom should have a great, deep voice, maybe with or able to do a good European accent. Since Victor Von Doom wears a mask 99% of the time, it should be less important for an actor to resemble him, so at least a large, imposing figure. He really needs to sell the costume.
6:40 Sorry, but as an European I found it very ignorant. In Europe we have a lot of small villages with castles on the hill, and no, they don't all look exactly the same.
I am ALL IN on the idea of Jason Isaacs doing Dr Doom!
She-Hulk was breaking the 4th wall long before Deadpool was even a thing my dude.
They should get Julian McMahon to play Doom again he did great imo!
4:00 it’s also a signature move of She-Hulk
Lucius Malfoy as Von Doom would be amazing
Are we sure it's going to be Doom's version of Secret Wars? I was sorta expecting the Beyonder to show up.
Yay
Victor has a recipe for lentil soup in Moonknight is that a Doom bot
Looking forward to Wakanda Forever. Opens up Namor -> opens up Namorita -> creates the possibility of the New Warriors banding together -> brings Nova (hopefully Sam Alexander) into the MCU.
The "biggest bad" needs to be Galactus (especially with the edition of the Fantastic Four). Doom and Galactus were both in the Secret War comics and were the only two that tried to attack the Beyonder.
18:59 - OF COURSE!
so smart
I believe they just started throwing multiple ( to the point I can’t remember them all) new people at us because they didn’t have enough “They were a Skrull?” characters
Catch them pulling hulkling in like "wait, he's skrull?" "Well, yes,, but also--"
I feel a mysterious ‘3rd party’ to stir the pot between Wakanda and Atlantis would be Zemo that could cause Valentina to recruit him for Thunderbolts.
As for Doom, I’d like to see Zachary Quinto (I’d love to see Karl Urban, but he was Scurg)
Ryan gosling as Von Doom. Emma Stone as the invisible girl and when Tom Hollands spidey brings back Andrew Garfield in the Kang Dynasty, the recognition causes its own kind of chaos.
I was screaming when the announced all the movies
Hi
Goran Visnjic is my pick for Victor von Doom. He’s Croatian, so he can add that European element to the character and you wouldn’t have to rely on an American or British actor to do an accent, but he is pushing 50, and it’s likely that Marvel will want him around for awhile, plus the character has known Reed Richards since college and if they’re casting an actor younger than Goran, then it might be weird, unless Marvel changes things (like they usually do).
4th wall breaks were She-Hulk’s thing before it was Deadpool’s.
Stern pulled this same prank in the past
Casting Doom is going to be the hardest and arguably the most important decision Feige and Sarah Finn (Marvel's casting director) will make in the next decade (even the next 2 decades)
Imagine Henry Cavill as Doom...would be cool
fan 4 stick is my jam!!! With Galactus preferably not as a cloud!!!!
You were on the news.!!!!!!!!!
Cillian Murphy need to play doom
He's too small.
I think Alexander Skarsgård would be a great Doctor Doom. He's a great actor who I feel would do a good job as a foreign villain with a vendetta.
I really like your frames Ben
Calling it right now: in Kang Dynasty, Incursions are killing every universe, and in the end, Doom, with the help of Dr Strange, stop Kang and Doom is able to merge the last few remnants of the multiverse together to create Battleworld, in which we see him as God Doom
I like to think the village in the Alps in Moon Knight was indeed Latveria.
I hope they hire a veteran actor to play Dr. Doom. He's too important of a character.
She-Hulk breaks the 4th wall in her comics.
I HAVE BEEN A FAN FOR 4 YEARSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
NICE! Thanks for watching!
:)
When will Armour Wars happen? Wasn’t that slated to come out in phase 5?
I want to know when Arcade and Murderworld will make their appearance in
No one should play Doom they can’t write him like he should be. He’s hands down my fav marvel character and do not want to see him ruined
I feel like we were in a drought of mcu content for a while, but I’m super excited for he future of these characters!!
People forget they’re building towards secret wars. In 2012 marvel got hate for the build up to endgame. It’s a big world and they’re building it slowly
