Thanks again for your visit, we're so happy to hear you had a good time, we certainly did! Yes, these are the KONE Building elevators featuring KONE Destination control system. The cars are unique but their technology in KONE Minispace™. The machinery is KONE EcoDisc® MX18. The car capacity is 20 persosn (1500kg) and they travel at the speed of 2.5 metres per second. The top-floor terrace opens a view to the Gulf of Finland. The building and the elevators were completed in 2001.

Cool elevators. I love the view up the shaft and the view is a nice view of the water. Did you see the machine room of these? If so I would love to see that video. I am curious to see what the destination dispatch system would look like from the machine room.
VERY FUTURISTIC!!!!!!! just wonder why it asks for yur destination outside the lift when in the cabin you press a button to go to it. wel, really amazing!

There was one instance in the U.S. which was the only one involving 2 women getting stuck in a brand new Otis Gen2 in the Houston Marriott Marquis because they were jumping. So no, Otis is not bad, the women made a fool out of themselves in that elevator car. That being said the SF Marriott Marquis's 38-story Otis Series 1's keep getting stuck at least 4x a year & SHOULD get a mod by Otis into destination dispatch
