- BMC presents the completely new developed Twostroke Hardtail. We had the opportunity to watch mechanic Julien Brugeas from Team Absolute Absalon building the new cross country race hardtail of Jordan Sarrou and present you the new bike in this video.
BMC has developed the Twostroke from scratch and uses the experience and technology of BMC Fourstroke. BMC calls the Hardtail a "new school hardtail". The main features are:
Radical geometry with 75° seat angle and 67° steering angle, 425mm chainstay length.
Complete inner cable routing with completely continuous cable channels.
Integrated fork stop
Integrated frame protection
Dropper Post ready
BMC präsentiert das komplett neu entwickelte Twostroke Hardtail. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit beim Team Absolute Absalon dem Mechaniker Julien Brugeas beim Aufbau des neuen Cross Country Race Hardtails von Jordan Sarrou zuzusehen und präsentieren Dir das neue Rad in diesem Video.
BMC hat das Twostroke von Grund auf neu entwickelt und greift dabei auf die Erfahrungen und Technologien vom BMC Fourstroke zurück. BMC bezeichnet das Hardtail als „new school hardtail“. Die wesentlichen Punkte sind:

BMC must have one of the most beautiful, if not THE most beautiful and clean designed frames for a Hardtail bike. The way the frame slopes and melts into oneanother and still has angled edges is.... i never thought i‘d look at a bike the same way i look at lets say a Lexus LFA.

also i am very happy that the tire companies finale realized, COLORED side wall will make a bike look much better and sale will increase , about time!.

Absalon was always an XTR man. Strange watching them put on the XX1 crankset and the Sram Level Ultimate brakes.
I have the old TE 01 from the days when Julien was racing.
At the time it was considered on par with the S Works Epic and the Trek Procaliber SL. It was also one of the lightest hardtails available.
The last TE 01 in comparison with the competition slipped with the Sram GX specced version it's highest offering. Making it significantly heavier than my 2015 model and way heavier than the top of the line S Works Epic.
BMC have continued to offer the 4 Stroke with high end components but have turned their backs on their TE 01 now renamed 2 Stroke hardtails. Hopefully they'll eventually offer 2 Strokes that are specced at a similar level to this build. Many of us choose Hard Tails over Full Suspension bikes and are happy paying for them.

Yéti Arc is beautiful but for the same price (~4000$/€) the TwoStroke is more advantageous... BMC for once did a great job on the price

They've put top spec components on. Just ordered a complete AXS XX1 groupset for my old TE 01.
