life update (11.06.21)

updates since this video was recorded:
I bought a puppy on 12.06.21. She will not replace Sparky in any way.. but I will be sharing our adventures together. September starts a new decade for me, and although I'm very sad to not bring my Buddy with me, but keeping him in the best decade of my life so far is comforting. I wonder what adventures and experiences this new pup will bring... I'll share her name + details in July xx

I worded some things wrong. For example: my parents don't "demand" money, but it does stress me out when the ask for it when they know I have nothing.
Also... I know I said I was "relieved" to not have a pet, as it gave more freedom, only to then buy a new pet the next day. It was a personal statement, as in I was (and am) relieved that: 1) he's not suffering, & 2) I don't have to lose sleep every night out of fear that he'll stop breathing. I kept his health a bit of a secret for almost a year because the people in my life can't handle serious situations very well, and I didn't need the stress, and Sparky didn't need the stress. But I knew he wasn't gonna make it to next year, in my heart; I just hoped he'd make it to our birthday's in September. He was very unwell; his heart was not okay. He was very old; a senior; he spent his entire life being a friend, and he deserved to be let go fairly, peacefully, and in his mamma's arms. I don't regret it for this reason: he's okay now. And I will be too.
The music in the background is a song I wrote and recorded on 12.06.21. I was feeling a tonne of ups and downs; grieving my Bud + falling in love with my new companion. I sat in front of the piano and let my feelings guide my fingers, and this is the result. The clips at the end of the video are from our various adventures, as well as my first solo adventure withou my Buddy.
