Ward is way better. His freestyles and rebuttals actually have relevant set ups and are layered. Clips will say some random nothingness for the set up just to make the punch rhyme, and its always a basic and lazy rebuttal that comes nowhere close to what Ward or someone like Trez or Bangz does. Clips is the dollar menu of freestyling and rebuttals. Cheap, lazy, and easy.
Great battle, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Reminded me of Chef Trez & Charron a bit, only without the extra round. I think a 2 on 2 between Trez & Charron vs Clips & Ward would be pretty sick! Nuff respect to Remy, C23, and RYD for bringing the heat again! 💯
