I have about 30-40 podcasts I rotate through every week and this is simply my favorite 1-1.5 hrs. I am most definitely MMA leaning as opposed to boxing, but as long as there is a good balance, I canât not tune in. Great work LukeâŠstay frosty.

I always knew of Luke but just never really watched his videos. Stumbled across this and i just wanna say this kind of content is 5/5 absolute gold.
Was beginning to run out of high quality mma news / media / analysis (I mainly watch Ariel and TheWeasle) and so glad to have found your channel. Finally have something else to watch during dinner haha.
With the level of insight you have into the sport and it's history, and me being into the history of things in general, could you touch on what "mma" was like before UFC 1, especially the vale tudo days in Brazil, the prevalence of bjj and public opinion / view of martial arts before that first UFC event and combat sports trends over time during the 20th century.

I think the people in charge of PFL are going for content and distribution deals first, MMA promotion second. Like how an investment group would go about managing a fight promotion, looking how they set it up for sale down the road not set up a long term fight promotion.

I've had so many issues with ESPN + And UFC app. Both apps are garbage for watching any live sport on. Everytime I use one or the other they lag like crazy, the picture quality I pay for is 4K, but get 360p. Pixelated like watching on youtube lowest video settings so the video can stream. Always feels like the production is done by a grad student who took editing as a second minor as a backup so they wouldn't fail out of school. The tecks say clear the cache and reinstall the apps, but does absoluely nothing. I got sick of paying for 2 apps to see a full mma event. Not paying for either again. You pay for almost half of an event with both apps, but get apex junk events all the time, or power shite slap. Who the heck cares. Dana goes off about his power garbage is #1 in the world........only in his dementia rittled mind. I wouldn't take any memorabillia from that idiocracy so called sport.
