Played few games. Run into smurf who quickpeeks without action point. Other game ran into a cheater with full package, 20 run speed, aimbot and boardhack.
Imagine in the six invitational instead playing the video game they’ll play this xD
not a huge fan of phones being needed for more and more board games now,however this looks like a fun game to play as a Siege player and a fan of board games
If the rule book tells you the times and calculations of said times, that would make this game a lot smoother for offline/disconnected players. Otherwise it’s time to get good at math and calculate the times yourself

I'm actually really excited about the minis first and foremost but the game itself looks pretty solid.
@@MrSATism I'm actually looking at the app rules and I'm thinking it might be more satisfying to play with a chess clock instead of a phone. There's a certain satisfaction you get from pressing that timer down.

I was planning to back this project but it's clear after I watched this I shouldn't back it. It'll be way too hard to play with my son.
Seems like a retheming/reskin of Imperial Assault skirmish with overwatch added and a few other things like Corvus Belli's Automatic Response Order system and a timer.
Since IA isn't easily available, and Infinity has a steep learning curve, this fills a niche for lighter tactical skirmish game.
I'll consider it but I think ultimately I'll stick with IA and the IACP through Vassel.
I hate board games that require an internet connected device to play, but as this looks like it's just as a timer I might let this one off

I don't understand why a board game existing is a bad thing. Why are you upset that a game exists? Does it hurt you in any way?
It's unfortunate that the board game is based on Siege and not the broader IP. Siege is a poor representation of Rainbow Six as a whole, honestly, and I really wish the series would have a major return to form. I've been toying with a fanmade board game for years based on Rainbow Six 1-3, and I was hoping this would be a replacement for that desire. Looks like I still need to get to work.
I'd love to see your work when it's done! I played R6 in 98 when I bought my voodoo3 and I'd love that feeling in a board game.
@@RichardArpin Since the older games used percentages for stats, I thought about how to incorporate that into dice rolls. If I ever get anywhere with a concept I'll try to remember to update you on it.
