I found this awesome foot for my Elna, which will also work on a Janome it's called a Ribbon Sequin Foot 'G' Product Code is 200332000. This foot will show you how to sew sequins onto fabric
As you will see from the video, the sequins don't break and you can sew sequins right on using your sewing machine!

Because, I just love machine embroidery. When hku do, try flower stitch foot also. It gives very petty circular flowers using built in stitches. I have tried this with twin needle also with contrast colours. You feel like exploring do much :)

Hi Cassie , I just wanted to know, that. Is that clear threaf a soft textured like other sewing machine threads? B.Coz, I hsd one yransoerantone, somethng like Nylon or slightly plastic mix. I tried with this, bit din't work out. It broke two 11/75size needle, ad i dont get 10 size. And one 14/80. So, I just wanted to ask. Is rhat Clear thread availanle all obet , any place?

Hi cassie, how are you? I had mentionef know, that i yried sewing sequin keeping presdure @2. Length @ 2.6 & in zug zag mode, it came out nice from right to centre of the sequin. But , when, i made width zero, then the neele punched the sequin next to the whole, so, can you plrase tell me, what width did you keep, if we want the stitch to come straight & not zig-zag.? please 🙂
It has to be a zig zag or this will happen. If its the thread you dont like to see you can change to clear

Hi. Thanks for that. Quick question; is the foot universal? I got a singer in the states and am in Japan wondering how to sew sequins onto a shirt to cover up the logo mark and fancy it up at the same time for a bday party. I'll look at my sewing supply store next time I'm in the center.
Unfortunately no, each machine has their own feet I would certainly check in with a sewing store.

Hi Cassie, thank you for the vodeo on zippered pockek. Forva long tiMNe, I was wondering , how to sew zippered pockets. As, I hQ&Ave some fabrics , but, didn't knew the procedures. Now, I can srw them to zippered pocket bags. When possible, can you please show, how to make decorative & durable fabdic handles for the bags. Ok?

Hi I'm looking for a sequins foot for my sewing machine the only thing I have is the blind stich foot one. And I'm trying to put sequences on to a quilt cover but as I said I need the right one i would appreciate if you could please reply back to me about this

That's a very good question. I have never created a string of sequins though. I'm curious myself
Oh, I see, actually, I saw one video, where a lady, creates a strip of sequin with loose sequins. But, focus was not very close up view. I tried also. But couldn't do. It's in Hindi language with no subtitles. I will try to send that video to your email ID. So, irrespective of language, if you can get to know? Please explain or you only make one close up video. So, that it will be helpful to many. And sorry for taking your valuable time with my lengthy message. :)

I have 3mm or 3mm bead foot. I have been searching for 4 mm bead foot in Amazon & Flipkart., but didnt get still. Actually, I want to sew big bead string at the edge of saree pallu. Can I sew, eithpilut the foor also? 😊

I have 2mm or 3mm sized beads foot. Ok. I use it for sewing stone lace if small sized pear strong.on my blouses.:)

Hi Cassie, I tried sewing sequin. As per the settings you mentioned. It came zig-xag on the sequin. I wanted the stitch to fall straight in the sequin hole and not over them. So, just tried keeping width to zero. Adjusted the needlevto the hole, by turning the handwork manually over 3 or 4 sequins. As the needle passed straight over the hole perfectly, I peddled slowly. It came out fine. Thank you for this easy & useful video, which gives our work a Grand look. Which is your new video, that you uploaded? I am sorry! If I am pressurizing you.:)

@@vandanasanjay4032 stitch in the ditch is used in quilting to quilt all the layers down. You stitch along the seams. It's the easiest quilting method to finish a quilt off.
