Miranda is the biggest inconsistency in this show, her cheating with Che after she was cheated on, her not helping Carry, her letting her child have relations with someone in the house and letting that person live with them, the things I could let pass are her exploring her sexuality(even though she already did), now she's a boomer with white savior mentality and alcohol problems and blacks out

It just feels like most TV shows that have been coming out recently feel the need to be depressing because the world is and it’s kind of exhausting and I didn’t expect it from this series. The biggest fail is how they wrote out Samantha. She was the best and most loyal friend out of all of them. At some point, everyone of them judged her for being sexually liberal. She always had their backs no matter what. A better exit would have been is that she just simply outgrew the friendship. By the second movie, 3 of them were married and 2 of them had children. Samantha was still living the single life. She was no longer in the same place as them. I feel like they didn't deserve Samantha's friendship cause they all looked down on her when she was the most confident and knew exactly who she was and what she wanted.

So, yes, the checklist tries to desperately cover the racial, gender, and sexual orientation map. It’s obvious the show casting call was: Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, black, gay, trans, self identify. There's so much that I can say, but I'll stick with Miranda. BTW, David Eigenburg did the best bit of acting in the whole AJLT series when Miranda told him that she wanted a divorce. IMO, he was very realistic. So, did you notice how offended and angry Miranda was when Carrie challenged Miranda's choice to be with Che? Go back to 2004 to the second to the last episode of SATC series. Miranda give Carrie the same crap about Carrie going to Paris to be with Aleksandr Petrovsky, played by the yummy Mikhail Baryshnikov. Carrie got angry and yelled at Miranda that she wasn't going to stay in NYC to be single for her. That was when all of the women did have husbands/boyfriends. The Manolo Blahnik is on the other foot. It would have simply been regarded as a delightful little Easter egg. But it sucks so it ends up being just one more dumb thing. The biggest inconsistency? Sex in the City was a good show. And Just Like that might be the worst show I’ve ever forced myself to sit through. I had pretty low expectations because of the second movie. But these writers have outdone themselves. Possibly the worlds most remarkable garbage.

She would not be living where's it cold and foggy, the men are more uptight, and she has none of her best girlfriends with her, especially at her age. Spot on about Miranda's character assassination, and how they did her and Steve's relationship dirty...very dirty. It can't really ever be forgiven. As for the bag, there is such a thing as ebay, and Carrie has done well for herself over the years. Not hard to believe that she would have connections, and been able to find a replacement for the bag, shoes...and even the shoes Pete ate in Season 4! So not necessarily a plot hole there. Also, I didn't notice Carrie's apartment being bigger, and I'm usually pretty good at noticing stuff like that. However, the hideous flower wallpaper needs to go.

Also Charlotte was the one character that didn't drive me bonkers in the reboot because even when she was annoying it was still the character I watched in the original series and movies. Then they did my favorite character dirty (Samantha) and then I heard about the fuckery with Miranda and said absolutely not. I can't. I hate what they did to her character and I hate it even more because Cynthia Nix is defending it. Its bullshit. If she's busexual or pan or hell even a lesbian, then do it without the cheating. It's possible. As for Charlotte, I really just want to think that she matured and I agree that she is just that comfortable with her husband.
