Bands go through evolutions, its natural to lose band members over such a long running band. But hell I miss Marko!!!
Its not the same with the rearrangements and pulling in Troy. Id like to see someone like Yannis Papadopoulos join the band in special concerts. The duet he did with Floor singing Sahara was incredible. I want more of that!

How many tears ive spilled when Marko left Nightwish.. I absolutely adore this man and some of their albums have literally kept me sane when everything felt out of control.. whenever I see this man its like meeting the one friend you see once every 2 years but it feels like you just take it right from where you left off.. I think almost no musician has an equal impact to me as Marko does. If you havent heard Isäni ääni, its a besutiful song about Markos father and their relationship, puts me to tears every single time ❤️

This song is a real gem. Already very strong when Marko sings it on his own but damn I love these extra layers added by Anneke and the guitar player whose name I do not know.

I got your point, but "was best Nightwish vocalist" is a bit of a stretch! :))) but indeed, Nightwish songs don't sound the same without him (at least those songs where he was involved as a singer too)

This is special and means a lot... The King is always there. Marko is by far one of the best singers I know. He is a genius and inspired me a lot, I am a pianist (I have been playing self-taught for almost a year now) from Argentina, and every time I hear him it is like I see family ^^. Thanks for this Video ;)

They did a bit of touring together earlier this year, before Floor collapsed in Juni, but they didn't sing a single song together. A missed opportunity.
Floor's gotten very mainstream these days, while Anneke is still doing it for fun mostly. I'm not sure if they will collaborate in the future. Would be great.
Would have loved to see Tuomas' finger work on the solo.
But otherwise this is perfect.
