In this specific case you can check if the trimmer let's you take off the trimming head accessing the threaded spindle. I see that in the pictures it lets you mount a blade but I don't see how the mounting interface is/works. Hope this helps!

      Yes the batteries can be even more powerful than 5Ah. This is the size that we successfully tested but of course a higher level of Ampere per hour will give your trimmer even more power… it’s to be mentioned the fact that probably powerful batteries will be very expensive/large/heavy for the use on trimmer… but innovation goes on and every year we can have something new maybe lighter, maybe more convenient, maybe more powerful.

      Hello Mike!
      Bosch 26-18 LI Grass Trimmer is too light for mounting brushes and actually it can be considered more like an edger. Indeed you can change the small blades/nails (Durablades) but you can't change the full trimmer head accessing to the threaded spindle where to mount other accessories like brushes or larger blades.
      Our recommendation is to buy (or borrow) a gas trimmer or a very heavy duty battery trimmer (they are usually very expensive and hard to find in the market).

      With electric (battery operated) trimmers we still don't have a solution but we are currently testing different options. We can already tell you that it won't fit any "edger" because edgers let you only change the spool while they won't let you take off the whole trimming head in order to mount the brush.
      Anyway for lighter trimmers you should try this lighter version of the brush

      This B+D grass hog XP just lets you change filament spool. In order to mount a brush you need to be able to take off the full trimmer head and mount the brush on the spindle, then tighten it. Right now the only electric trimmer that lets you run this brush properly among the ones that we tested is the Ego Power + trimmer. Or a wide variety of gas trimmers with motor size above 1.5hp

      The brush will not damage the bushings since actually each single wire hitting the hard surface is thinner than the filament you would normally use. Hi Kim
      It’s a 25cc Model so it should work even if we haven’t tested this precise item. We had a look at the user manual found on Ryobi website but we couldn’t check if you can take off the trimming head in order to access to the threaded spindle around which you mount the brush. But since you have it you can check it quickly before purchasing the brush. Anyway we are confident it should work. Please make sure to buy a sitbrush original brush when looking for the “brush cutter brush” because the market is full of imitations and they don’t even come with the necessary adapters to fit every trimmer! You can only change the filament spool. BUT no worries. Ho qualche dubbio nel montarla

    • @SITBRUSHtv
      @SITBRUSHtv  Před 2 lety +1

      Buongiorno Enrico, grazie per averci contattato e per aver scelto una delle nostre spazzole. Una precisazione: rispetto al video il diametro esterno delle rondelle potrebbe cambiare ma ciò che è importante è il diametro interno che permette il centraggio sul perno del suo decespugliatore stihl. Nel suo caso lei dovrebbe montare prima la spazzola, sulla coppia conica, poi montare la rondella d’alluminio con il “gradino” che aiuta a centrare la spazzola ed a seguire una delle 3 rondelle, quella più stretta sul perno del decespugliatore e che con il suo diametro andrà in battuta sulla rondella d’alluminio a “gradino”. In questo modo quando, concludendo, lei stringerà il dado di serraggio, questo spingerà la rondella d’acciaio contro la rondella d’alluminio garantendo una tenuta più solida.
      Farlo è più facile che scriverlo ma se lei avesse ancora dei dubbi ci scriva a marketing@sitbrush.com dove le potremo condividere ulteriori istruzioni o eventualmente un numero di telefono per sentirci in videochiamata e guidarla nel montaggio.

      Hello @@KiddFlow40 Can you please send to marketing@sitbrush.com further informations:
      1. picture of the brush and packaging you bought
      2. model of the trimmer you bought.
      As a thumb rule we can say that the brush, with the set of adapters it comes with, can be mounted on any trimmer that gives access to the threaded spindle. Some trimmers won't let you disassemble the trimming head and in this case there's no way you can mount the brush. This happens frequently on lightweight electric trimmers.

      @SITBRUSHtv  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello jsantiago02.
      It depends on the weed wacker model/size.
      - Usually no problems on gas trimmers while it's not suitable for light battery trimmers/edgers
      - For tougher battery trimmers (Ryobi has some 40V in range) you need to check first if the trimmer head can be take off in order to mount the brush head. Anyway we recommend a lighter version of this brush that can be found at this link czcams.com/video/1N9tDtwtlxY/video.html

      Hello Arnold,
      I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Can you please tell me what brush brand you purchased? Where did you buy it? If you have doubts please send a picture of the brush and the packaging at marketing@sitbrush.com.
      The video refers to the original product, SIT is the brand and "Made in Italy" is stamped on the brush.
      Our original brush comes with a complete set of adapters which let you mount it on almost any trimmer. At least it can be mounted on your gas trimmer.
      Please be aware that, based on our experience, the Black+Decker trimmer is an "edger" in reality and it doesn't let you take off the trimming head. it just allows you to take off and change the filament spool.
      Anyway for light trimmers we recommend a lighter version of this brush that can be found at this link czcams.com/video/1N9tDtwtlxY/video.html

      Hi Shay! We don’t have any brand preferences but we can absolutely recommend a professional or semi professional trimmer with 1.6hp when using a large brush like the one in this video (200 mm = 8in). And even this recommendation strongly depends on the kind of use you are thinking about if continuous for many hours a day or just for a few hours a month for a regular backyard maintenance. What kind of application are you thinking about? Or what machine options are you considering?
      So we can be more precise...but in the mean time I hope this helps

    • @SITBRUSHtv
      @SITBRUSHtv  Před 3 lety

      Hello Aaron Stevens. This is not supposed to happen and since the brush has a plain bore it’s not the reason of your issue. Doing some troubleshooting I can guess one of these 2 reasons:
      1. The threaded nut is not the original one or it’s not the right one (M14 against M10 for example but it depends on your trimmer and what is specified in the instruction booklet) or it isn’t a self tightening nut. Indeed the more the brush spins the more the nut locks itself
      2. The spindle is too short and the nut doesn’t catch enough threads to tighten or the spindle threads are worn out.
      Let us know or send us pictures at info@sitbrush.com at the attention of the marketing department mentioning this conversation.

      @SITBRUSHtv  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello Len Domingo,
      Edgers are often too light for mounting anything else than filament. Actually the majority of them, like the Ryobi edger, won’t even let you take off the trimmer head in order to access to the threaded spindle where you can mount other accessories like a sitbrush. We recommend gas trimmers but if you want to stick to battery trimmers then the only one that successfully passed our tests is the Ego Power+ multitool. Hope this helps!

Based on what we saw in Worx website even the tougher models like the 56V 13" cordless string trimmer doesn't look like a real trimmer but it looks mainly like an edger to us. Even in terms of weight it seems very light for the application. In any case for lighter trimmer we recommend a lighter brush like the one in this video: czcams.com/video/1N9tDtwtlxY/video.html
