  • Lebron James hits 40,000 points, the most in NBA history. Definitely a great feat but does this do anything for the GOAT debate? Lets see what Nick Wright has to say.

I dont agree with ur load management statement. Lebron plays games when he is not injured, the only argument could be is not playing some back to backs, but even that is not often.

Kobe wasnt competing for a championship this late innhis career so there is no need to conserve. Ik the lakers are a 9th seed yes but they still feel that they can make noise in the playoffs even if the chances are slim

Yeah. The last few years after the achilles injury the Lakers were trash, Nash had a bad back, Dwight was hurtin, Gasol was in his twilight...but even with that, Kobe pulled off 5 rings.. and the main debate regarding whos the goat is not only about the rings.. It's about the player, the skillset, does Lebron have better dribbles thank Kobe or MJ,, did he handle the ball better? No...He had 1000 more turn overs than Kobe and 2000 more than MJ, with less rings... come on... would you tell your kid to learn how to shoot watching Lebrons crooked jumper.. No you wouldn't.... What Lebron has, you can't teach... 6'8 260.... of course he's a baller too... but when we're talking the GOAT, it need you to be flawless...like MJ.... no flaws you can name in his game

Did Jordan play with any bonafide superstars??? Did Kobe play with any after Shaq? Lebron has always had another superstar with him that can get his own shots. That's huge. Kyrie, Dwade, Chris Bosh... All superstars. Can legit get their own shot, can legit run teams and offense on their own... MJ... no... he had good role players... Kobe had good role players... not the same.. Let me ask you.... Do you value skillset? Do you think most of Lebrons strength is in his size vs. skillset. Lebron james has the most turnovers in NBA history,, more than MJ by 2000 and more than Kobe by 1000+... how the fck can he be your goat... My goat actually takes care of the ball fam... come on... you're telling me the guy who is 4-6 in the finals, and leads NBA history in turnovers is your goat?? Please tell the truth... are you an actual legit baller... Like you ball out when you go to the gym......my gee, i'm 6"5, can shoot, dunk, pass, etc... do you not see the nuances in the differences between MJ & Lebron,, its' real easy to see.. MJ was smooth like butter... Lebron is big, strong and clunky...lol... MJ shut other greats out from getting rings during his run.... Steph has been in the league less years and has as many rings as Lebron and beat him multiple times in the finals if I remember correctly.. Is lebron better than steph??? at shooting?? Dribbling?? hell no... he's just bigger.......MJ only got beat when he was young and on the come up... Lebron got swept last year.. In the bubble AD was our best player..... stop bro...

My brotha....Michael Jordan didn't "take a year and a half off" , his father was killed....he retired and then came back. That's different. Taking that type of time away from a professional sport would hurt you, set you back, the game is moving forward while you're off. But he was able to get back to top level not long after returning and won a 3-peat. Thats different than what Lebron does. He's been load managing for years. Of course that will extend your career. If you play one game, then take the next one off, if you don't play back to backs.....come on, lets be real. He's been load managing since he got to LA and prior. I'm not mad at him for it.... Just don't compare him to work horses like Kobe & MJ that NEVER load managed.

Jordan was sub 500 before he got pippen. I think it's funny when people say jordan could have won 8 straight, but he actually got bounced in the playoffs by the team that got swept in the finals. Jordan was 6 for 6 in the finals which is incredible but what happened those other 9 years...6 for 15 doesn't have the same ring to it lol. Dont get me wrong i think they are top 2 easy and i love them both but how dismissive the jordan camp is of any kind of logic is mind boggling

I like how you twist it up... Yes.. we all know that no players will win a championship every year.. and unless you come in on a stacked team you're likely to have to build, the teams usually getting high draft pics were the teams with the worst record right?? So of course theres usually a building period.
So what we're comparing is their records in the finals as a show of how effective they were in the most consequential games. Michale Jordan was 6-0 , Kobe Bryant was 5-2 and Lebron James is 4-6 . Keep in mind that the 2 rings that Kobe won without Shaq, he won those rings against teams that had just eliminated prime Lebron... Come on bro.. I respect Lebron, I don't respect his GOAT case... it's no exsistent. And if you're a true basketball savant you'll know that Kobe doesn't even have a case and i'm a true Kobe fan. What happened to those other SEVENTEEN years for Lebron? Tf you talkin' about? Also the Wizard years don't even count. That was a promotional tour for the Wizards as he became a partial owner. Then you have to factor Jordan missed an entire season due to foot injury so technically he only played 12 full seasons for the Bulls.

Greatest individual player of all time boils down to record in the finals...so by your criteria then Bill Russell is the goat and it ain't even close. Don't know why you brought Kobe in the discussion. Phenominal player and the ultimate competitor that he was, but there is the legitimate argument to be made that he wasn't even the best player on his own team for the first three titles. Disagreeing with the case for Lebron being the goat is fine and totally understandable but saying the argument is nonexistent is just downright obtuse. Lastly not sure what you meant by be an an alpha, dont look for stars to link up with...not sure if that's an ad hominem based upon my comment to your video or the pro Lebron nature of my comment but either way you can do better than that and it has nothing to do with the lebron/mj debate 👍

My brother, whenever someone brings up Bill Russell in the conversation they clearly aren't getting it. ROBERT HORRY has 7 rings and he's not in the convo. Come on bro... The reason Bill Russell isn't in the conversation is because even though he was a great of his time, the game has evolved so much that the skill set isn't comparable. The reason Kareem kinda gets pushed out of the convo now is because we're clearly talking about the guys that have the most well rounded game x most success while having the most skilled, "do it all" game.. right.. come on... Did Kareem ever take the ball down the court? Did he ever pull up mid range jumpers? You ever seen Kareem do a cross over? No...Jordan became who he is because he could do it all at a higher level and on top of that he won at the highest level, over and over again. And how you win matters... No one expects a player to win every year, so bringing up the years MJ lost further shows how you're not a true savant. Of course he lost,, everyone does... but did he leave Chicago to go find an easier path? Or did he just grind it out, add some pieces and then go on a legendary run????? Come on sir, lets be real.. And the reason we say MJ could have won 8 total is because after his first 3 peat he was out for 2 years came back and won another 3 peat....Not saying it's a for sure thing, it's highly likely that they would have at least got 1 out of those 2 years if not both.... Lebron James has 2000+ more turn overs than Michael Jordan, 6 losses in the finals compared to MJ with 0. MJ never left to team up with greats... only added roll players which is normal. Come on bro... There is truly no argument. Lebron doesn't even get passed Kobe in the GOAT debate. You cant be a true baller and not get this... Like really, do you ball... like legit....I'm 6"5, deadly jumper, all moves, 3's, can still dunk at 42, watched bball since I was 5 years old... watched all 3 careers... Kobe, MJ Lebron,,, I know what i'm talking about... Look up videos of MJ draining free throws with his eyes closed.... and then pull up videos of Lebron trying to do that sh*t and airballing... different fam... Lebron James should have never pushed to have people call him the GOAT,,, the longer he plays and hovers around the 10th seed he further proves our point..

That has to be the lamest Rich Paul point ever, "Jordan would have crumbled under social media pressure" hahahahah... Log off Lebron and stop saying dumb sh*t that puts the spot light on you..... Jordan was swamped with press. Are you kidding me... he was swarmed by media as he drove into the stadium.... you're speaking on something you don't know.... As far as the Disney Bubble Covid Tournament .. Yes, all the teams that year had the same set up.... my point is more so the comparison to the 6 rings Jordan has or the 5 that Kobe has.... If you take a month off during the season, some players sat the bubble out, you don't have to travel during the bubble, no home vs away dynamic, the exhaustion of travel after playing intense games, the intensity of going into opposing arenas with fans going crazy... screaming at you,, hating your guts... you can not tell me that the bubble replicated the true intensity that happens in a long playoff run. So yes, that year they won amongst the teams that played...bravo.... but never compare that ring to a normal championship run. The worst thing they can say is..."we missed our families"..... cry me a river....

You say Jordan averaged 5 assists to Bron 7 yet bron got 6 thousand more assist. Now that’s a misconception. Nobody that ever laced up a basketball shoe never been h ever been as great this long. Ever period. A 39 year old bron stats better than many Jordan seasons. Not to even mention how Jordan beat teams when they were no longer in their prime. Because when they were, he couldn’t see them even w a telescope. Yet bron got the single most greatest ring ever won coming back from 3-1 to the best regular season team ever. And scoring titles don’t mean nun when you ain’t the all time leading scorer. Jordan got all those and still bron the greatest scorer of all time. While giving you 11,000 assist and 11,000 rebounds.
