Made the decision to do this tonight. I know the importance as my mum had cancer 4 years ago. Unfortunately, she was too ill to start chemo but she did get a wig before and I know how happy it made her to not have to fear the hair loss. Doing it for my momma. Love you my angel! xo

+Wild & Wonder Well it's up to your face shape, if you have a round face it might be good that it drags it down. If you have an oval shape it would look prettier short. You have other face shapes but you know what I mean haha.

My sister did the same thing and says that it's a lot easier to take care of and when it's grown back she will do it again and she is proud the person the wig was given to wrote her a really nice letter she cut of 8 inches

I've donated my hair 3 times in my life so far (I'm 12) and the last time I donated it was about 3 months ago. It was the shortest hair cut I've gotten, but I really love it. I definitely prefer the shorter hair on you! You look gorgeous!

I've been binge watching these types of videos because I'm going to be donating about 21-22" of my hair next Thursday, btw you look amazing with your new hair!
I've donated my hair about a month ago now. I also thought I'd start regretting it after a while, but I haven't got any regrets so far. It feels so good to give it to someone who needs it! I also felt like my hair made me feel more confident, but honestly, I feel way better right now knowing that I can rock short hair. I can honestly recommend everyone to donate their hair.
I cut my hair from my stomach to my shoulders (10 inches) in may 2015 and i am so happy i did!
^ i also donated it to the little princess trust, and meanwhile donated £150 to hope for children and £150 to the teenage cancer trust :)
Aw you are so sweet! Little kids are extremely more confident and you are a part of a wig that was donated to a child to make her feel beautiful!

I know this is late but well done Hannah!!! My sister and I did the same thing in May of 2015 and we both donated 12 inches of hair whilst in plaits. We also managed to raise £700 for the making of the wigs. The Little Princess Trust is such a personal charity to me and I'm so glad they are finally getting more recognition for the work they do for young children. You're brilliant for donating your hair & thank you for raising awareness for such a worthwhile cause!xxx

I cut mine off last year, and i dont regret it! I cut off 8 inches and my hair is in much better condition. I also raised £480 for the charity too. I recommend it!

So glad I found your channel! I cut off 12 inches of my hair about 2 years ago for the little princess trust but when we sent it, it got "lost" in the post! I was so disappointed but at least I raised £200 for the charity! And now my hair is not far off my elbows!

love your hair ive just had mine chopped off from as long as my chest to a very short a line bob i also donated to little princess trust although still getting used to the new look i am pleased i have donated my hair for a little girl or boy that needs it more than me. such easier to style now which is nice although i do miss my long hair so might end up growing it again. xx

I cut my hair to donate from above my knees to my shoulders I've been growing my hair all my life to cut it of for cancer
love the idea that you decided to donate your hair .I donated mine too a few years ago and I felt really proud of myself.Just the thought of how happy that child was going to be with my donation of hair made me want to cut it because if you give a little love you can get a little love of your own☺

Watching your video of you donating your hair made me think about when I donated mine just under a year ago, it's so scary thinking about it before hand, but once you've had it done it's one of the best feelings ever! I was just like you when I had it done, I was trying ti brush hair that wasn't there. From my personal opinion I think you suit short hair, when I had mine done everyone said I looked so much older, I didn't personally see it but I understand where they're coming from! When done on donating it! Thank you for filming this, and telling us why! Xx

i did the exact same thing. My hair was long as yours and I cutted it all off for think pink. It now comes just above the shoulder. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I absolutly love my hair now 😊

I'm in a stand point. I am really thinking of getting my hair cut short, like a pixie style sort of. I absolutely hate doing my hair, it's always either in a braid or a pony tail because i don't want to do it. I see lots of people get their hair cut and they look so good( including you), but I can't shake the fact that I'd look horrible with it, or regret it horribly. I really want to donate my hair for a better cause. But I'm so scared that I'd look horrible with that short of hair, any suggestions on what I should do???

I donated 10 inches in October and I'm so happy I did. Short hair suits me so much more and washing my hair was such a chore. You look brill!

I watched this video when it came out, and it really made me think about donating my hair. Recently I rewatched this and researched hair donation. I looked up the Little Princess website and today I came back to this video. Currently, my mum is ringing the hairdressers to book an appointment so I can cut off ten inches of the hair I've been growing for six years.

oh my gosh this is the first time i've seen this video but I'm also a girl with very long, very quick growing hair & have donated my hair 4 times within the past 10 years. I love to grow my hair out to cut out, bc at the end of the day I always feel good about donating & where my hair is going to. But i admit I had that same feeling that my hair is part of me, everybody that knows me knows me as "the girl with really long hair". Its who i am, and will ALWAYS be me. but SO happy to donate & so happy you did too!

I'm growing my hair really long so I can donate my hair.x I've had a couple members pass from cancer, R.I.P, in my family, they never lost their hair but I know how it feels to have someone you love suffer from cancer.x thank you for doing this it means a lot to many.

I donated 10 inches of my hair back in January, and I would say to anyone considering it - do it! It gives you such an incredible feeling afterwards (and your hair is so much easier to care for!)
