Obviously there is an immense amount of distrust between enemy forces that results in the dehumanization of the enemy. That's just how the human mind works in warfare. No nation hasn't done it throughout history. Everyone is guilty of this, however that doesn't mean that there haven't been wars where one side committed these actions and is still seen as the morally just side.
