I just installed my first replacment part, after two week delivery at the dealer everything works smooth as normal. Thumbs up for replacement parts, great job on that.
Another addition to the controller market. Props to Pioneer.
I have very good experience with mine, i have played in clubs and it works really good and solid. I have used cdj's for many ears, and this i clearly this is the future for pioneer, and me :)
Ufffff que nota de controlador!!!!
THANK YOU PIONEER AT LAST A QUALITY BUILT HARDWARE FOR TRAKTOR SOFTWARE!!!!
cant wait to get mine :)
auch sehr super dass alles gezeigt wird was TRAKTOR kann! das kann es aber auch ohne den tollen controller mit anderen
@Keynius if you are still experiencing problems.....
Soundcloud supports all major formats including WAV, which Traktor records in.
Check if the recording was successful before uploading the file, try playing it in iTunes etc. if if didn't record, check that Traktor is sett up 'internal' in the following two preference panes.
1. Output Routing / Mixing Mode
2. Mix Record / Source
Thank you for your comment Pioneerdjsounds
@andyfoz Native Instruments will continue to support the DDJ-T1 with future releases of Traktor.
@THURO If you are preparing, then it's best to have your laptop somewhere you can access it to use the keyboard, copy tracks, create playlists, etc. But when you are performing at a party or just enjoying playing after your preperation, it integrates perfectly with the controller. It saves space and makes you look like you're performing with hardware.
Thx pioneer for your support :)
@Spoelstraat i agree, cant wait to get mine
The big Cristian Varela!
@pioneerdjglobal SAVES SPACE!!! VERY NICE!
amazin video man, thanks, its a good control!!!! regards!
this controller is badass I just wish that serato intro would add it to their list of compatible controllers
i have this thing :D
really amazing
Ich hätts sau gerne!!! Und mach weiter so, is klasse idee
@matrix7531 The pitch slider and volume fader controls are the same size and same components as found on our club-standard DJMs and CDJs.
As for the computer under the controller deal, it really comes down to how organized you are. If you play with 4 decks your tracks need to be readily available. So a lot of prior organization takes place, and you'll probably have a playlist set up for the night. If the search function has made you lazy with organizing your tracks, then yeah, this feature is not for you. you can always use your laptop stand if that's the case. the damn controller doesn't need your computer under it to function.
Nice !
that laser at 1:40 is so epic
Very good controller!
I wrote a short review of both models on the Balkan musical portal: "Megamixers"
people sometime forget to thank the traktor sofware also to let you do this things moving the looper thats nice
-If you want to use Serato, get the Serato edition. Pioneer just released a 4 channel version.
-If you want to use Virtual DJ, get a Virtual DJ controller and save yourself a lot of money. I think DJ ERGO comes with Virtual DJ if you want to stick with Pioneer.
-DDJ T1 comes with "Pioneer Edition" Traktor. IF you want full version, you have to pay more $. I had to do it so I can set cue points because I DJ at a local bar. And the upgraded deck layout helps out a lot.
I remember when djs had to work extremely hard to beat match and train there hearing to pick up the beat.. but now anybody can be a dj... thanks to sync.. yess the music selection is a big part but the creativity of mixing and beat matching by ear defines the DJ.. sorry if people disagree but im a purist..
Having just bought an S4, also having the option of the T1, I cannot work out who or why anyone would by the T1 over the S4.
Having said that Ive always had CDJ800's and was drawn by the lure of the Pioneer brand, but having looked into the ability of both, I went for the NI S4, and Im very glad I did.
funky beat is so sick :)
found one of these on ebay the auctions only at 250 hope it stays down this one looks amazing
Love how he jumps back completely offbeat with the drops xD
I just bought a DDJ t1 and it's super cool quality and I am very satisfied. And I chose the Pioneer because it is the best dj equipment, which I've worked with for many years. But I am just waiting up the new update of the pioneer's traktor program, I need to see how long the song has played on the display. Unfortunately I can not see it on the program that follows the controller. Hope there will be an update soon.
Regards Jeppe. @ Denmark
@daywalker840
The DDJ-T1 supports Traktor's sample decks after updating the Midi setting file (tsi), which is available from our support site. To access Sample Decks, the DDJ-T1 uses Decks C and D for trickering the playback. You can find full breakdown of the control assignment in the update procedure PDF available here:
We have sent you a link via Personal messages with the URL to the support site.
Thank you Pioneerdjglobal
My Dj favorit , The Besth Ofe the world (Cristhian Varela )
@connormccaffrey you use the scroll knob to find songs and type titles. You don't need the keyboard
Ostia Cristian a ver si mejoramos ese acento ingléééé!! un saludo! =D
I used to like Cristian Varela when he was playing Real Techno until He jumped on the Minimal Bandwagon. If I ever get this DDJ-T1, Expect some Classic Techno from Me.
@andyfoz Traktor has auto gain control and the cost for four VU displays would increase the price.
@DJNLazine only difference i've noticed so far is that one has 3 channels the other has 4 so i think i'm going with the T1 so i can still use my tables
Needs CDJ-2000 platters
VU Meters
2 Phono/Line Inputs
Ability to use Traktor Scratch Function
Track Position
XLR Master out
Booth Out w/Booth Vol Knob
At least have the sound qual. it puts out similar to that of a DJM-600 for Headphones and Master
This is the list of features I want. Most DJ's reluctant to go the MIDI route would like to see a controller like I described as well. They would feel right at home and on a professional device.
Thank you for the Long Pitch Faders Pioneer.
Yes you can use other software please see pioneerdj(DOT)com for full details.
@andyfoz your very true, i have had various amounts of dj gear from vinyl turntables that were so shockingly bad, right through to some great pioneer cdj's, dont get me wrong i love pioneers products, i mean thats why the cdj's have been the industry standard all these years, but the new equipment in djing is crazy stuff, im thinkin of selling the cdj's and have been looking at controllers, and the s4 just seems the perfect product!!
@pioneerdjglobal This is exactly what I meant. I learned with Vinyl many a moon ago, I learned to have organized crates of vinyl so 1) I wouldn't carry all of my vinyl to the club, and 2) when I'm at the club I know where any specific track is. This is easily done with playlists in software, but it seems easier for most DJs that learned on software to just dump all their tracks into Traktor or Serato and use the search function. Not my case, I would put the computer under the controller.
Top!!
It is a matter of preference the T1 utalises Tractor and the S1 Serato, take a look at the pioneer dj Forums at forums(DOT)pioneerdj(DOT)com where you will find lots of information from pioneer experts and other users, hope this helps! Thank you pioneerdjglobal Team
The looping effect has a knob, which you press down to start.
yo ya me lo compre hace un mes es de la ptm !!! no se siente la diferencia en una consola normal d pioneer claro ! =D
@Holmann1 What do you men "see how long the song has played on the display"? You should be ableton to see that on the orginal Traktor pro software..
Do you mean filter knobs? Can you elaborate on your question?
@LeielProductions Yup, traktor has a button built in. You just click record and it will save it to a folder called traktor in your "my music" folder. Easy!
@MavisYokomoto the unit does not feature hardware buttons to initiate the sample banks or lauch the clips, and thats if pioneer traktor even gets the sample banks which im fairly sure it wont. buy an s4
Wow esta de poka madres.
I call that SKILLZ
You need to wait for the new Traktor Pro to come out in Feb to more accurately make your decision. As always it depends on your style of mixing, and personal preference. I used to have Final Scratch 1, then Final Scratch 2; I switched over to Serato for the longest time, and then switched to Traktor Scratch Pro; I'm waiting for the new Traktor Pro now. You can still use Live with Traktor, you just need to have Traktor send out the master midi clock, it's not directly integrated but possible.
Right so there is a the Pioneer DDJ SX for serato and the S1 is there an plans for a new traktor controller along the line of the SX eg same build quality and club standard features?
Vengo de EDDisplay!!
It's been announced there is the DDJ-SX from the S1, when is there going to be a newer version of the DDJ-T1?
how do you get that back spin sound on traktor with the T1. i cant seem to find the option in the traktor options/settings
@SHMTAKEONE To be honest it's a fairly smart business move, it's getting the increasingly large market of djs who use cdjs but are jealous of laptop djs and can't stand that they can start djing at such a low cost. This applies to them, it allows them to finally get the possibilites of a laptop dj while still remaining elitist and, in their minds, still being "true" to djing.
It's also, for me, a great step in the way for laptop djs that pioneer has taken to it.
@djDivineJustice You know, to se the time that has played on the screen, not the remaining time.
I have the pionner edition installed. I can't change it in the menu of 'decks'
Hello i'm about to upgrade from my Numark Mixtrack and i'm thinking between the Pioneer DDJ-T1 and the Traktor S4 (since they are 4deck controllers and they can be found cheaper on ebay) ,would love any advice really.Thank you :)
whats the story with the microphone set up?? is it possible to adjust high mid and lows to adjust the sound?? or can it be assigned to a channel
Please can you give us more details on what you are trying to do? Thank you Pioneerdjglobal
@pioneerdjglobal i am confuse because i am stuck between choosing t1 4 channel mixer and s1 2 channel mixer although the s1 features fx >:( what would you guys go with or does the t1 offer a large varieties of fx's
@hsaddme are you saying that the pioneer edition doesn't alloe you to set cur points? :o
I just picked up a TTS1 but it did not come with a Traktor install cd Is there a pioneer support site with the download? Much props thanks.
Anyone has any doubts of this machine,
i have one. Sold cdj900s and djm 800 this thing kicks the arse out them and it was a third of the price
@andyfoz but it has traktor pro s4 is like an serato itch made especially for the controller so you might lose some normal functions of pro
@Holmann1 i'm tempted to get the s4 over the ddj t1 as it has more features and is made from metal as opposed to plastiic, whats the build quality like on the ddjt1 and do u have a flight case for it, thanks :)
hi guys, just got d ergo n was wondering if there's a way to get a setting for the jogwheel so i can use it scratch?!
The DDJ-T1 works with Mac and PC
Hello!
On the spaces for effects there is a bottom for Chanied and advanced options, but when i press nothing happens, why is this?
Also i can not use the Dry/Wet setting on the DDJ-T1?
I would be thankful for a answer.
@pioneerdjglobal can you use any dj software with the ddj-t1 ?? for example virtual dj
how many computers the software that comes with controller can be installed in? is it possible to install it in a desktop (for studio) AND in a notebook (to take to parties)? and both the FX and EQ of the controller can be applied to the song that comes from AUX IN?
The Pioneer DDJ T1 is a controller for Traktor and the DDJ S1 is for Serator. I would have a DDJ T1 because I use Traktor.
does the traktor pioneer edition come with a sample deck?
Why do you guys spend time watching this movie and then commenting that it's overpriced and bad? Just bought one myself. Love it.
What happens with pitch/tempo , filter controls , when switching from deck to deck ?
Djing for so many years, it was only natural for me to play around with this. money wise its worth it but at the same time it was VERY plastic'y in the use. however, i use the Allen & Heath 4D sooo ya.. you can see why :P
Can you put the pitch on wide mode like the ddj-s1?
I bought this controller this week. Im very happy with all the effects n controls. This is a killer.
But the thing is that whenever I watch pioneer DDJ T1 tutorial videos on CZcams or anywhere else , I notice most of the djs using Traktor Scratch Pro with DDJ T1 which does not come along with the DDJ T1. It comes with the Traktor 2 edition. Now can anyone suggest me or show me the way how can I get (download) Traktor Scratch Pro without spending money again....? Please Help.
I heard that I can make the Slip Mode on my DDJ-T1 like the new 2000 Nexus with an effect configured in me Traktor, isn't it?
Thanks and sorry for my English...
so are the jogs exactly the same as with cdj400?
What are the 6 effects that come the pioneer ddj-t1 version of traktor?
anyone know, I really want to know!?
THANKS
is it compatible with Virtual DJ becouse i preferr it more than traktor ? I mean will you be able to control most of the things in the program .
@DJNLazine DDJ-T1 works with Traktor and DDJ-S1 works with Serato ITCH... that's the only difference... the layout is a little bit different to fit the software matched to it. Serato is great and well known for scratch but Traktor is capable of many effects but is kinda very digital.
does this also have an "slip" mode like the ddj-s1?
is the soudcard built in or it uses laptop soundcard
Would it fit a 17 inch macbook pro underneath? Or what are the maximum dimensions?
Pioneer DDJ-T1 vs. NI Traktor Kontrol S4MK2 for Techno ???
Hi!
How do I set the Slip Mode (loop effect) on my DDJ-T1??
Thanks!! :)
A little question, Can you attach a RMX 1000 to this controller?
so you recomend the T1 better than the S4, i have an S2 and I was planning to trade it for an S4
2:24 i dont get it the traktor version i got in the box with the t1 doesnt look like this did i something wrong within the installer
can you use the ddj-t1 with a traktor kontrol k1 or maschine?
Best choice Macbook Air or Pro for the Piooner. DDJ 1T??
" Say hello to my little friend" he should say
the thing tht would make this better is if it had pioneer ddj sx platters !
I've just bought a T1 and update the tractor software to 2.6.8. but i don't get the features like changing the interface. Please help Pioneer. Thanks.
Melvin Galang if you have downloaded the most resent software and you are still having trouble please visit pioneerdj.com/support/
There is a master 1 balanced TRS output for PA systems and a Master 2 RCA outputs for booth monitoring... It's said in the video you watched before you made this comment!!! Just Saying ; )
dat crates!!!
I love the guys reaction when he did the drop after every effect. He's like MONSTER, BETTER BACK OFF. Haha.
