Forgetting Arteta has already won a FA Cup with a team he inherited. It will be interesting how he continues to build the team but its starting to look like his team.
They fail to acknowledge that. But if conte had came in the same time n won he wud be a genius or a masterclass. It’s who media favors. We arsenal supporter shud just shut it and let them spew their narratives and we let the ball do the talking.
It’s crazy how Spurs has changed by adding new players but arsenal hasn’t despite adding better players. However let’s see how it goes Saturday. Spurs better win else the internet gonna explode🤣🤣
More successful than Spurs in 10 yrs

Let's make it clear, Arsenal fans don't truly believe we are ready to fight for the title yet. Top 4 is our aim
It's more of media & rival fans narrative so that it will be more convienent to banter arsenal when eventually finshes 4th
They’re ready to fight now, would need serious luck to win it but we’ll compete as long as we get no bad injuries
@@thetruth863 You are setting yourself up to be disappointed if you honestly think you can compete for the title. No team can match Manchester City over a season currently. For Arsenal, who threw away top 4 last season, getting into the CL should be the only focus.
Top of the league. Flying. It's yours to lose. Would be a travesty if you don't win the league. Arteta would need to be sacked.

Souness just can't comment about something without taking us back to the dark ages when he used to play.
hahahahaaha true
To be fair though, I prefer that to pundits who also played that long ago and yet pretend to know about the game today. Not a fan of Souness but at least he's honest about where his experience begins and ends.
That’s just how dinosaurs are…
He's morphing into Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses. Half expect to say 'During the war....' whenever he speaks.
When you refer to the dark ages I assume your speaking to a time when:
●He and his Liverpool side dominated and led by example in every competition year after year
●he and his side played in an era where much more was let go and players could go through you and you just got up and got on with it.I
●he and his side played in an era where the financial backing to English clubs wasn't there and you really had to develop players from ground up to compete in local and European competitions.
So its that called the dark ages I'd consider this a compliment and listen to him..assume the person your listening to knows something you don't.
Arsenal could be top of the league with 35 games gone and Souness would still say they're not in a title race

If you dig deep into the arsenal change, you'll see alot. Possession is up massively, passes are up massively. Yes those two things don't mean you win games, but its about the progression. If you want to challenge, like lpool and city, you have to have huge amount s of the game. Spurs will only get so far witj the way they play. Arsenal are pushing on to be title challengers in the next couple of years.

it's another one of those games that suits spurs more than arsenal. It's away so they can play on the break and sit back and whilst arsenal will play better football, if they aren't clinical (or if partey isn't fit to protect the backline) it'll be the utd game all over again. Arsenal will ironically probably play better against the Liverpools and Citys this year than the teams that don't come out and play. It'll be an interesting watch as arsenal have shown progression in breaking down low blocks. Also, just a small point, there's a stat about teams start to the season that completely shatters the argument that arsenal have just had an easier run in. The average position of the sides arsenal have played (in the table as we speak) is higher than that of spurs or City. For arsenal it's 11.8th, spurs 14.4th and City 15.2th. So not only are arsenal top, they've done it against teams just as difficult as their competitors and they've dome it playing arguably the most attractive football on the continent.
Really enjoyed reading that 😅
N it won’t matter to the naysayers. Won’t fit into their narrative
Tottenham one win in twenty eight years at Arsenal🤣
spot on Ben. Agree with everything you've said. Only thing that makes me more optimistic about the NLD as a gunner is that Spurs never beat us at home, even if these games suit their counter attacking style the fans and energy will hopefully be too much for them. At Shite hart lane it's a very different story obviously.
Souness :
Arsenal finished 5th last season. The same young players that filled the team then are in it now and are 1 season older, wiser and stronger. Add to these facts that Jesus, Saliba and Zenchenko have SIGNIFICANTLY improved the TEAM (as opposed to the squad). Viera, starting at Brentford and being nominally the 3rd choice creative midfielder (MO & ESR) showed he has real quality and will push for a first team place across the attacking midfield areas.
Souness may ultimately be correct only time will tell but simply reeling off an opinion without addressing the above makes his remarks, IMO, lack some depth of analysis.
It's honestly getting very irritating hearing all these "pundits" say things like "when Liverpool starting playing well". When did we start analyzing football that way??
Let's go Arsenal.
No no just no, in England and in Europe we have better songs than the yank identical chant of "let's go" ...
The " Ether" with which Jordan and Souness demonstrate the current form of United speaks volumes about their mindset. I wish United come out of this battle with a win so I can see their sour reaction🤞😄
Love how new narratives and arguments are made specially for Arsenal.
Here’s an argument, should “World Class” Antonio Conte lose to Arsenal on Saturday, he’d have less points since joining Spurs than Arsenal in the same period,
When you put into context that Tottenham have been in a rebuild under Conte, he has a bit more protection than Arteta who has been in the job for several years and already has the team in his image.
@@sammoore7840 Conte's image is a lot easier to implement than Arteta's complex system, also Arteta won the FA cup playing similar system to Conte and now his squad plays the total opposite system while overhauling an entire squad
@@hegeliandianetik2009 If you know Conte's system and methods, you know it's not an easy system to teach, particularly mid-season. His whole coaching method is based on automatisms and intense fitness standards which take time to get to grips with, especially given how average the squad he inherited was. It's only really this season that Conte has a squad somewhat in his image.
Not really a fair argument considering he picked up a team mid season in horrible form with a star striker who wanted out. You can't judge them on last season, Arsenal had injuries and no depth, Spurs were figuring it out on the fly. This season is where it's at.
Shoulda woulda coulda
Given how few full football matches some pundits seem to watch, it makes sense that they're so often wrong given they're mostly just basing their "expert analysis" on highlights, results, and old tropes.
Yet Arteta won a FA Cup 4 months into his first job as a manager with a group that is miles away from the current one in terms of tactical and technical quality. So it’s a bit odd to me to hear that Spurs have more chance of getting silverware. They have been saying so for the last 6 years and in that time Arsenal have won 2 FA cups and 2 CS.

The difference is that Man City always start the season slow, this season they've actually started decent compared to the previous seasons, yet they are still only one point behind the leaders, go back a few seasons back, City normally give teams 5-10 points headstart at this point, yet everyone knows that once they start winning they don't stop, 10-20 game winning streaks, them and Liverpool have been the only ones able to do it in recent years, they'll do it again and blow their competition out of the water like they always do, enjoy your good start while it lasts

@@mawererebrian9641 oh okay
Same goes for when Mourinho took over Spurs. Everyone saying he is a serial winner and expected to win something for Spurs. But... Dont forget Arteta has already won 2 trophies.
Even if Arsenal wins the NLD they'll still not be regarded as a title contender. The fixtures has been kind to them. No arsenal fan have said they're winning the league. they'll also say it's just a derby game, they always win a derby game especially at home.
And if you don’t win the NLD your fans will riot as you’d have played 2 big games and lost them both aha Cause let’s be honest that’s what will happen
@@bstuart975 are you think with your head or your ass 😊😊😊.. riot because they lost a derby game? You're funny. You must be a spurs fan. You guys talk to much just like expression. 😁😁
@@bstuart975 We haven't lost to Tottenham at home since 2010 let's be honest, Tottenham's record at the Emirates is poor shut your mouth please, going for 2-1 to us.
@@tomisinosabia967 I mean 2010 and 2018 we beat you at the emirates and your talking like since then that half of them haven’t been draws?!😂😂😂😂😂 cause they have nearly all been draws at the emirates since 2010 8 wins 5 draws and 2 losses something like that since 2010 at the emirates so stop talking like you’ve won them all aha think your in for a big shock on Saturday
@@bstuart975 2014, 2015, 2016 I know they were 1-1 draws at home but your getting cocky again
i am tottenham fan but think about asnal more look strong then tottenham
Arteta has already won a trophy with arsenal though
yes of course..they lost the only big match they had..
We’re not top 4 contenders yet.Let’s have this conversation again at the end of January
Talk sport to close the channel till then
I think you’re wrong about arsenal. We’ll finish above spurs and have a more successful season.
Hard game to call. Spurs are normally pants away to Arsenal. I'll go 1-1
We are always pants away at the scum 1-1 I'll have that
Peter crouch in the middle there
Just imagine, Arsenal will sign only 2 world class players next window i.e. Bellingham and Mbappe like miracle 😎
