I do enjoy some modern stuff to dance to as a young adult myself, but I'm waiting for the trap phase to transition to the next phase before I start listening to the radio more often. I have young parents so I grew up with 4-Tay, E-40, Snoop Dogg, Dogg Pound, The Click, Bone Thugs, Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Spice 1, etc from a very early age.
So sad that they don't push this type of rap over the versions that promote killing and all of that other stuff. As I got older and worked in the industry I realized how systemically oppressive this entertainment industry is.
