Let's be HONEST here...as an RnB Singer/Songwriter/Musician/Entertainer who has been in and around music for over 30 years and having opened up for and worked with many in the industry, I MUST KEEP IT REAL... 1. I'm glad to see these young men back together as a group no doubt but they sounded "OK" as a "Collective Unit" 2. Big Mike was the most on point all around both vocally & stage performance wise 3. Robert over sang and did way too many unnecessary runs and adlibs as he always has, but he still has a damn good voice 4. Q simply didn't seem into it and appeared to go through the mechanics of each song but sounded good on some songs and not so good on others. 5. Brian was just all over the place and not really sure if he missed rehearsals or what? He sounded good on some and not so good on others. 6. Willie sounded fairly good and is the most in tune with entertaining, engaging with and catering to the fans 7. The overall sound, music and mic levels should have been much better and more crisp 8. Brian H. Came onstage for the Exclusive Reunion performance and OUTSANG ALL OF THEM HANDS DOWN! 9. Never perform with anything but T.V. Tracks which is simply just background vocals where needed, but when you are a 5 man group you DO NOT USE LEAD VOCAL TRACKS & sing over them when performing LIVE EVER! 10. They ALL tried over singing one another throughout the show at times which is ALL BAD 11. They need some polish to their overall stage show, choreography and being in sync vocally and harmoniously as there were plenty times they were pitchy, out of key, not harmonizing & looked lost or crowded a certain part of the stage.... 12. Overall it was a fairly ok show but they have the potential to TAKE OVER the void of male RnB groups if they execute effectively.
I truly love day26..and I agree with you 100% also..I really want them to make it..hopefully someone will pass all this constructive criticism on to them.
