Most consistent band of all time
Every album is incredible. And they keep releasing albums every two years which is great.. I literally leave each album in my car for two years straight until they release the next one and never gets old (if it does, I just rotate between albums until the new album drops). Best band ever.
Festus 100% They have evolved, but never changed their sound. They may not be as break down heavy anymore, but they just put out solid record after solid record.

It's awesome to see that August Burns Red still has their signature sound, and haven't deviated from what made them great. A lot of bands change their style too quickly where it's hard to enjoy them. These guys are consistent legends.
Foolish Demon I first saw them almost 15 years ago, before Thrill Seeker came out. I love that their sound has evolved without losing the core aspects that made them stand out back then

Converge is more consistent. So is The Dillinger Escape Plan. Not only that, but they're also consistently far better. ABR is consistent because they take no risks and never step outside of their comfort zone. It's easy to be consistent when you do the same thing over and over.

Easy one of the best metal songs created IMO. Seriously dude those ` "FAREWELL" to the mind rippingly high "FAREWELL" ` 's are literally just amazing.
I mean, we've all been through a lifetime journey with ABR and we've all heard and seen some magical songs, unforgettable songs.. But.. this album... in my opinion of course... IS THEIR BEST YET! sweet jesus, it's been on replay since it landed in our hands! Thank you ABR for what feels like a lifetime of THE BEST musical experience in every department of the band!

I feel like it wasn't older music videos, but older horror movies. There are references to Halloween (the closet Brent is in front of), Twilight Zone (the spiral), Wolfman (Jake's face gets distorted eerily close to the Wolfman's), Evil Dead (the cellar, the doors and windows opening and slamming shut in an old house), and I THINK The Omen for Dustin? Amongst others. I could be wrong. The aspect ratio would definitely be in service of the horror movie homage.

I love the style of the video, a throwback to the old school 60s horror movies. As a film fan it really makes me happy to these guys do something like this.

osm1718 AILD was falling away from their heaviness and sonic consistency. If you compare Wovenwar to the last AILD record, you can hear their attempt to go mainstream. ABR has honed their craft and stayed true to their art while offer difference in each record. A truly difficult feat.

If I go to the Orlando date then we have Pennywise so I guess that would be a cool experience but the only surprisers for me are Unearth and MyChildren MyBride. I'm really fucking pissed that Phinehas isn't coming here though. They never seem to really do much east coast touring and if they do then they're always the first band to play at shows. Anyways, I am definitely looking forward to Every Time I Die once again but other than the ones we have both mentioned I guess pop-punk bands will get a shot for the first time since I haven't seen State Champs, Knuckle Puck, The Maine or This Wild Life yet. Tonight Alive would be cool too I suppose.
