Disconnect the sensor but do not completely remove it as this video demonstrate.... You will loose all of your transmission fluid ... You will destroy your transmission

instead of removing sensor, just unplug it or cut wires, or remove red fuse i believe f11 in fuse box under the hood. i drove it 400 kms but u hv to do manual shifting, speedometer or cruise wont work. put new sensor after reaching safely

Mine has trouble only below 30 mph. Once I get to 30mph it works fine. Weird.

Did that sensor made your truck loose power going up a hill?

System can b derated and speed drops to 4 or 8km/hr. Removing sensor tricks system.can b driven faster.even 100km on flat rd. U vl hv less power on grades.its auto but has manual option. U vl shift wt +&-

I have drove mine like this for 3 years but I am finally replacing the sensor because I ran into an issue where the car went into limp home mode where the car shifts harder

Does it really help? Mine has been messing up
Messed up by over tightening it. Never tried driving without it.
My problem is losing speedometer, engine break and cruise control

I’m having the same problem as Hector. I have a 2010 Mack and the speed odometer stops working, my power is reduced, my engine brake and cruise control stops working.
