Mich Gordon no longer has any association with Doom and the people behind it but they clearly are doing their best to emulate his sound in the franchise!

Andrew Hulshult and David Levy probably makes the sountracks, they've done the Ancient gods part1 and 2

I still need to play the DLC for Doom Eternal but I will be ready for Dark Ages
id software still killing it 33 years later.....they are fuckin' legendary. Can't think of an older development studio that is still cranking out hits.

I wouldn't say sadly, while yes he is amazing, Andrew Hulshult and David Levy do live up to him IMO

Considering the _drastic_ difference between base game OST (Mick Gordon) and DLC's OST (Andrew & David) it's safe to say, those guys can't hold a candle to Mick.
Andrew & David are good - no doubt - but Mick is quite simply unique. We'll see how it pans out when the game is released.

Im genuinely excited for this game. It was leaked during the Sony lawsuit as "Doom: Year One". The game is set during the sentinel civil war when the devil begins to make his reign on Argent D'Nur. Rumor is that the game will play slower akin to the Marauder fights from eternal. I hope the game starts where Doom 64 was left off and ends where Doom 2016 begins. Its just nice to see Doom relivant again.

@@Runebee we all were beginning to think that it doom was done based on how microsoft claimed it ceased development and how the story ended.
i remember reading the codecs thinking that it was going to be adapted in one shape or for via maybe comic or something but im blessed they decided to make it into a game.
