- Riot Games and Honda are proud to partner and bring these highly personal stories of passion and determination of the world’s biggest Lolesports stars to fans around the globe. At the end of the 2018 season, Perkz and Caps were considered unquestionably the best mid laners in Europe. Perkz, the winningest player in European history and the face of G2 Esports; Caps, an emerging superstar and World Finalist with Fnatic. So when news broke in the offseason that Caps was leaving Fnatic to join G2, and that Perkz was swapping roles to make room for him, fans were shocked. Many doubted that Perkz would be able to share the spotlight with his greatest rival, not to mention learn an entirely new role.
Throughout 2019, those doubts have been thoroughly put to rest, as Perkz and Caps have led G2 to one of the most dominant seasons in the history of the sport. Now, the duo find themselves back at the World Championship, this time in Europe, with shared expectations higher than either of them have ever known before. Nothing but the title will be considered a success. For Perkz and Caps, it’s their biggest test yet.

Perkz is actually the biggest villain in League pro history and I love it. He's Palpatine and Caps is Anakin. Caps was the chosen one, destined to destroy G2, and this worried Perkz so he intentionally let his weak G2 lose to iG in the semis of Worlds 2018 so iG would destroy Fnatic, leaving Caps to be wrought with nightmares about losing to Rookie. Then Perkz approached him and told him stories about Darth Febiven the Wise, a player powerful enough to beat Rookie, but who was ultimately destroyed by the up and coming EU mid superstar, himself, and promised to gift him the knowledge to beat Rookie if he simply joined the dark side and G2, so Caps did, and now Darth Perkz and his apprentice Darth Caps are on their campaign to rid the Pro League scene of all opposition.

Caps learned to walk in Fnatic, so he could run in G2. Amazing to see the growth of this guy, from a young rookie to an international threat. Perkz knew what he was doing when he gave up his midlane legacy for Caps. Massive respect to both of these guys. Europe is watching them.

Watching this after two years feels very nostalgic, I start to think that I will never feel what I felt in 2019 with G2 ever again. These amazing players are now rookies that all looks like robot with nearly no emotions. I am not excited like before..
i felt this way after M5/Gambit era, and thought the same, no other team could be this fun, dominant and challenger Asia, i think we will get something like this in 2 o 3 years again.

Perkz to me feels like a stabilizer. If the team is winning his skills and being well fed makes sure they win and if they are losing, he can stall/carry long enough for them to come back.

. the combination of these two players worked out perfectly, a deadly connection was made. The whole team looks very good. everyone is different. But as a whole team they are one, they are perfectly coordinated. For example jankos is explosive
, he screams but I think he's unloading emotions on the team
. Caps showing how good it is and can even win at Faker, and Perkz proves what experience he has in the game. He converted this experience from mid to adc. Which gave him that he was unpredictable, he can choose any hero from mid and win bot. Or if they lose the start of the game, at the end of the game Perkz keeps cold and carry his team.
