- After a successful spring campaign that resulted plenty of big carp, Mike Holly embarked on a French fishing adventure that doesn't quite go to plan. Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy. This trip had it all but despite the hardships it has ignited a desire for other adventures in search of more big carp.

Great story telling Mike and after all your trails and tribulations I was hoping you would get a carp but hey as a team you led from the front in typical Baitworks fashion, sad for Otto to lose his fish but he will come back stronger next time, I look forward to some more videos soon

Mark and his team and the nicest staff ever used for baitworks bait and it catch’s went RK leisure hut island 6 of us 3 of us blanked shows a good bait

What did you do with bait on your trip guys? Are you allow to take bait to the eu yet?
Took it mate, seems they aren't bothered. Hundreds are taking it out weekly these days, e got checked, they looked inside and just waved us through.
Mike what rods and reels do you have
The ones at the end of the video are the ESP Onyx quickdraw rods, those little rods are so much easier in the boat to deal with and drop leads with and they have great power at 3.5TC. Reels are old emblems mate,
nothing wrong with tench specially at that size
Totally agree Ant, but sadly we'd rather catch them on tench tackle and tactics. :)
