Dream hides his emotions so well, and his voice is always so controlled, not to mention it’s always when he’s tired or slightly loopy that he doesn’t really hide it and is much more expressive with his voice.
And especially bc there’s no face cam and we can’t read his body language the only way to tell is through his voice,
So when he rages or screams it’s always terrifying.

I beg to differ, Dream’s voice isn’t monotone. You can here the emotion in his voice quite well most of the time. Sure, he’s good at masking his emotions, but what’s he’s good at is making us think he has a different emotion that he does. If you watch enough of his videos, escpecally the ones at the start, he shows a lot more emotion now, as well as learning which are fake, acting emotion ps vs the reals ones, which is helpful when finding you real panic during manhunt
