  • Hello everyone, today I'll be showing you this amazing 2019 Volkswagen Jetta S. The S trim level is the base model, but it surly does not feel like a base model anymore. More standards features than ever before and such a beautiful vehicle.

FYI - Charleston Car Videos on CZcams Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.

Just bought a 2019 leftover. I was pissed about not getting a spare tire. I asked and they said I could buy one for 300.00
I found one on ebay for 125 with the jack and little tools.
    Love the car though

I feel you. Blew a tire the other day and it was a hassle for something that would have taken me 5 min having a spare. Had to get the car towed since it was the side wall that blew out 😡 Then it was improperly towed and damaged my transmission 😡 all this could have been avoided with a spare in the back.

I currently drive a 2017 VW Jetta S, and it's a great car for what it is! Fun to drive, lots of room, enough tech, and somewhat stylish, especially in the color I have which is black. I'm really liking this new Jetta S, however, I am disappointed in the fact that VW got rid of the power outlet for the rear seats, while the 17 Jetta has them. Kind of a weird omission in my opinion. Other than that, I might be have to check out the new Jetta, most likely in the SE or R-Line trim when I'm ready to upgrade. 😊

As far as styling exterior and interior, way better than the mk6 Jetta s.
I really wanted to see the engine bay, does it have a temperature gauge this time? I was really disappointed with my 2012 Jetta s but I guess you get what you pay for.
I plan to visit the 2019 Jetta, the body looks amazing and the interior looks like a really better improvement.

  • @lukew67
    @lukew67 Před 6 lety +2

The Jetta is a great car with features for the price. I would be a bit concerned personally as I'm used to big power however I could get used to it for great fuel economy. With the backup cameras Chad what happened was is the NIHS required all new cars sold in USA from 2018 onwards must have a standard backup camera, that is why all new cars have them even in base models. Things certainly got interesting when you went through that pass through lol that was some effort there Chad!

  • @bwho

Chad - thanks for that informative video. I just saw yesterday that a Phoenix VW dealer is selling brand new 2018 VW Jetta S's for as low as $14,335. That's for a black Jetta S with manual transmission. After that the price goes up for white ones about $300 and all the Jetta S's were no more than $15,000. That's with $4,000 manufacturer money thrown in. Wow! V-Dub is throwning a lot of discount money in on these and they're brand new. Thanks for all the details in your review - that's what someone wants to see when they're interested in looking at a certain car and they don't know much about it.

I got my Jetta last year (it’s a 2019). I love how peppy it is however the one thing I do not like is that the backseat is very tight with 2 car seats. My older daughter is forward facing so it’s not that bad because we can move the front seat back. My second daughter is still rear facing and my passenger seat feels SO close to the dash, I can’t wait until she can forward face so I’m not up in the dash. You also can’t fit a 3rd person in the back with 2 car seats which is to be excepted but honestly sucks sometimes. One question is, for the back headrests move up and down? I am trying to find a tablet holder but I don’t think the headrests move up

Also, my wife chose a Subaru Forester. Best space for size one can find out there. Its the ultimate!in terms of space with car seats and spacious hatch

These are going for about 16,7XX new in PA. I am disapointed there isnt hi-def or satellite radio. Back up cameras are gov required in new vehicles, so its being there isn't impressive. Not sure about the engine turn off feature... Wonder if it will still work several years down the road. Lastly those wheels, ugh... I am looking at this model compared to a Hyundai Accent. The Accent is about 3k less with a better warranty. Neither have spare tires. Other than resale value, it is a tough choice.

I would not buy this car again. I have the 2019 Jetta S , 2 months old, 5 issues including the grinding noise, a panel popping off, a recall, camera that intermittentling stops and another sensor that doesn't work if rain or slight slush: czcams.com/video/zrORLIm9WEI/video.html that's my review. Dealer doesn't believe me on the noise which is clearly audible at 3 minutes, especially with headphones. They said this is "normal for a Volkswagen"

@@CarolinaCarVideos yes I just want people to know and to spare them. My friends warned me about VW reliability but I liked the car and that affected my decision making. I'd like others to know because this sucks!

really. well please remember Honda and Toyota are Japanese and Volkswagen is German. So VW will always have a cleaner look about them or maybe a more simple look.

Why do all the videos like this burn a minute or so of the individual telling us that he's making a video? PSA: content begins at 1:03.
