- Hello my dragonfly friends,
Today I am so excited to use 2 new molds. My husband bought me the Pick Guard mold. I think it turned out great, especially for my first time using it. I did overfill it a little, however I learned a lot.
The colors look great in both molds and the white bloomed perfectly for the desired effect.
I used the same resin, 1:1 ratio Epoxy Resin Store 7000. Temperature was 38 degrees celsius when I decanted into the molds.

Beautiful pickguard, Michelle. Most pickguards are cosmetic anyway, so it can be thin as you mention. The flower is gorgeous too!

Is a layer of epoxy as thin as the pickguard really brittle and easily breakable?
It is very thin but usually not brittle.😀
