A Poison Tree by William Blake in Tamil / Bharath Ravindran. This poem A Poison Tree is built round the idea that to give outlet to emotion is natural but to oppress is unnatural. It is wrong to suppress natural impulse whether it is love or hate. Restrained anger produces hatredness which finally destroys friendship. In this poem anger produces apple of hatredness because anger has not given an outlet.
